Simple review on BMW Scanner 1.4 (PA Soft) I just received my BMW Scanner 1.4 (PA Soft) this morning and love it! It is easy to install and has no issues connecting my BMW and USB on my PC. The tool costs 22.99USD, shipped free without software. But download BMW Scanner 1.4 software from here provided by the supplier for free. I hooked it up to my car and pull DTC from the vehicle, tested work. I was also able to code the car to automatically roll the windows by pressing and holding the lock button. Everything else was set the way I wanted. It was quite user-friendly, though I still might play around with the various features I can change. The supplier told me the BMW scanner also supports VIN reading and UIF info programming. I am running XP Pro on my Lenovo. One thing I did not like is there is no manual in the package, but anyway, the supplier put a PDF file of the installation in the CD. It would take some time to figure out how to play around. But it is still cool looking into the system and knowing what is going on under the hood.

Simple review on BMW Scanner 1.4 (PA Soft)

I just received my BMW Scanner 1.4 (PA Soft) this morning and

love it! It is easy to install and has no issues connecting my BMW

and USB on my PC. The tool costs 22.99USD, shipped free without

software. But download BMW Scanner 1.4 software from here

provided by the supplier for free.

I hooked it up to my car and pull DTC from the vehicle, tested work.

I was also able to code the car to automatically roll the windows by

pressing and holding the lock button. Everything else was set the

way I wanted. It was quite user-friendly, though I still might play

around with the various features I can change. The supplier told me

the BMW scanner also supports VIN reading and UIF info

programming. I am running XP Pro on my Lenovo.

One thing I did not like is there is no manual in the package, but

anyway, the supplier put a PDF file of the installation in the CD. It

would take some time to figure out how to play around. But it is still

cool looking into the system and knowing what is going on under the

hood.

I did the scan function once I finished the installation. It took a few

minutes to go through and test every system and to identify what I

had on the car, what was not on the car, which system had a code

and which not. There is a code in my SRS system. The fault is small,

but it is good to see before it gets worse. Cleared the code and the

problem did not show up anymore. The obd2 tool is good.
