A carefully planned and executed expansion program has seen CAE’s presence strengthen in recent years, so that it can now take its rightful place as a leading EPC contractor in the fields of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control.

Mr. Rashed Al Suwaidi is a qualified Petroleum Engineer having graduated from Tulsa University in 1981.

Mr. Al Suwaidi has been the Chairman of CAG since 2006. Previously, he has held several senior posts in the Abu Dha-bi National Oil Company (ADNOC), including the position of Exploration and Production Director. At the same time Mr. Al Sawaidi was as a Board Member of many of the AD-NOC subsidiaries, including ADMA, ADCO, ZADCO, ADGAS and ADPPOC and was also the chairman of NDC and AD-DCAP.

Mr. Al Suwaidi left ADNOC in 1999 and went on to acquire Essar Drilling in 2002, which was transformed into Dalma Energy. Dalma Energy was later sold to a new IPO, Aabar Petroleum in 2005. Both Aabar, which was initiated by Mr. Al Suwaidi, and Dalma continue to flourish with Mr. Al Su-waidi as a major Board Member of Aabar.

Mr. Carlos Marques holds a Master’s Degree in Instrumenta-tion and Control of Industrial Processes.

Carlos has been with CAE since 2002. The first five years of his time in the company was in the post of Managing Director in Abu Dhabi. After the management takeover in 2005, Carlos was appointed the CEO of the company.

Carlos has more than 20 years experience of working in Management of Industrial Processes Control Companies including: Gould Modicon (USA), Dragados y Construc-ciones (Spain), Kalunborg Refinery (Denmark).

Mr. Hans Niederlander holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Innsbruck, Austria.

Hans joined CAE in 2005.

Before joining CAE Mr. Niederlander was the Director of Fi-nance/Area Financial Controller for Honeywell Middle for 10 years.

Mr. S. Murali holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics.

Murali has been with CAE for over a decade working in various departments including: Tendering, Execution and Operations.

Previously Murali has held the positions of Deputy Manag-er of Projects at Visakha Refinery working for the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in India and has served as Construction Manager for ZAMMR Ltd on the YANPET Ex-pansion Project in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Murali has more than 20 years experience in Oil & Gas Projects in India and Middle East.

Set-Up

CAE is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE with operations in Kuwait and an outlook for future operations in other GCC countries. The head office covers operations for the entire region. The workshop and storage facilities are located in the Abu Dhabi Industrial Zone of Mussafah and the 2000 worker capacity labour camp is located in Ruwais, in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. In addition, various site offices have been set-up based on project requirements.

CAE has a fully licensed IT infrastructure with an IT team that develops and maintains control and project manage-ment software applications meaning clients can check on the status of their project at any time. As an aid to efficient operations we have installed Enterprise Resource Man-agement (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs since 2010.

CAE is committed to provide and maintain the highest lev-el of safety and a healthy environment at all times, there-fore preventing occupational accidents, injuries, illnesses or unnecessary environmental damage.

As a proof of CAE’s excellent HSE standards, we have been awarded HSE Excellence Certificates numerous times and have over 2 million safe man hours in 2011 alone.

Our Corporate HSE Policy ensures that the highest stand-ards in health, safety and environmental protection are met and requires commitment to continual HSE excellence.

Our HSE policy and objectives are achieved through man-agement’s commitment to HSE programs, accident pre-vention and health insurance for every employee. Our procedures give strict responsibilities for every employee’s health, safety and environmental protection.

We are dedicated to circulate our HSE management system to the level of understanding of each employee; this is done through regular HSE training for both site and office person-nel.

We expand our HSE management system to our subcon-tractors and suppliers, whose proven HSE standards and procedure implementation and expertise are part of their selection. Quality Assurance & Control

CAE Quality Management System is in line with International Quality Management System requirements and as an acknowl-edgement of CAE’s commitment to Quality, it has been accredited with internationally acclaimed Quality Management Cer-tificate ISO 9001:2000 for many years and in November, 2009 the Certification was upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 Certificate by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.

Management Review

A management review is conducted every three months. This review gives vital insight into the current effectiveness of the Quality Management System. Potential deficiencies can be brought into light and action can be taken.

Quality Audit

Every six months the company is audited by third party, ‘Lloyds Register for Quality Assurance’ to ensure strict compli-ance to ISO 9001:2008.

Periodical audits are also conducted by CAE’s clients and orig-inal equipment manufacturers to ensure compliance to the Project Quality Plan.

Internal audits take place at points within the year led by the company’s Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2008.

Continual Improvement

CAE top management is dedicated to continual improve-ment. This includes innovative training, advanced data analy-sis using statistical techniques as well as kaizen and six sigma methodology. These practices are the building blocks of the CAE Quality Management System.


Manpower

CAE’s engineers each have an average experience of over 15 years. The team also has the necessary tools and systems in place that guarantee reliability and performance. Through the commitment of our experienced engineers and con-struction personnel, we assure our customers the highest quality, safety and timely completion of projects.

Our project teams are renowned for their ability to proac-tively respond to our customers requirements and offer the most flexible solutions. We also provide a pool of technically trained manpower for electrical and instrumentation works.
