Wiki Assignment• PLEASE read all the way through

this power point before starting your assignment.

• First go to

http://www.wikispaces.com/site/for/teachers

• You will need to join wiki spaces.• Click join on the right hand side

near the top of the page.

• Use your first initial and last name as your user name; John Smith would be jsmith. (NOTE: you may need to use part of your first name to come up with a unique user name.)

• Write down your user name in your agenda.

• Create a password you can remember and write it down in your agenda.

• Type in your e-mail address.• Click Join.

• Now, go to our class wiki. • Sign into wikispaces using

your user id and password.• The page to the right will

appear. Your user name will be at the top where mine (lisbaker)* is. Click My Wikis and then click on singinginthemiddle.

• *notice I had to use part of my first name for my user name

• Finally, you are at the class wiki.

• Follow the directions on the home page. You see a picture of it to the right on this slide.

• The pages you will need are listed on the left hand side underneath home.

• Remember to be respectful in how you use the wiki.

• Remember to be respectful with the words you choose to type onto the wiki.
