IMPORTANT- ROTATION CHANGE (please read carefully)

Rotation 3 is October 13-26 inclusive. Students are to follow period 4 of their timetable for Face to Face Learning(F2F). Students are to log into Teach Assist to know which cohort they are in. If the period 4 course ends in 01-11 the student is in Cohort A. If the period 4 course ends in 50-99 the student is in Cohort B. For example, a student with ENG4U-53 in period 4 on their timetable means the student is in Cohort B. Students who do not have a course in Period 4 on their timetable do not attend F2F between October 13-26 inclusive. Students whose last name falls in the middle (G-P) of the alphabet may be in a different cohort

than their current F2F learning. Students who are in Learning strategies, Personalized Alternative Education and locally developed courses are expected to attend every day during the rotation. Teachers will communicate explicitly with these students.

SECONDARY VIRTUAL SCHOOL

We have been receiving requests to transfer to Secondary Virtual School. Please be aware that the deadline

to register for Secondary Virtual School was September 1. No registrations are being accepted until

Semester 2-January 2021.

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY (For additional information click Here)

World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10th every year, with the overall objective of raising

awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health.

The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their

work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.

We are excited to be back in our kitchens after a long break! We have been busy cooking and

baking in our grade 10 Foods courses over the last 2 blocks.

Looking ahead the Grade 9, 11, and 12 classes will get opportunities to use their culinary skills.

Going into this first long weekend of the school year, the students in grade 10 Foods along with

the two Autism classes and our office staff would like to share their thanks and gratitude.

YRDSB предлагает ESL программы для тех кто хочет улучшить

навыки в понимании, разговорной речи, чтении, письме на

английском языке в Канаде. Мы также предлагаем курсы по

разговорной речи и подготовке и сдачи экзамена на Канадское

Гражданство.
