S.I.R.P Shrink Insulated Resin ProtectedJoint (12kV)

The SIRP heat shrink, resin protected joint was designed by Jointmaster and is manufactured in South Africa and complies with local Standard NRS053/SANS1332.

Copper and Aluminium

Because this joint is locally manufactured it is usually available EX stock but if not has a very short manufacturing lead time.

The combination of Heat shrink technology and Resin/sand filled for mechanical protection makes this joint an outstanding product for all types of uses

3 core: 25-70mm , 95-185mm , 240-300mm and 1 core from 25mm up to 630mm .

All Joints are supplied with Mechanical Torque shear ferrules. Crimp options also available upon request.The Cold pour Resin comes in a two-part, Resin and Hardener combined with Dehydrated Silica sand which gives excellent Mechanical protection against Impact, Water and other elements. The resin is a locally manufactured product and has been used by JOINTMASTER for decades.

Installation takes only 2 hours.
