Known issues

This section contains information about known issues and possible work arounds in version 3.5.Known issues are reported issues that may impact your use of the product, but have not been fixed inthis version. The following are known issues for version 3.5.

UNI-36065 Mark Item Lost wizard error causes error message andextra processing fee

Occasionally, an error may occur within the Mark Item Lostwizard after clicking the Pay Now button which results in a Paidin Full message appearing, followed by another error message. The user is also assessed an extra processing fee.

UNI-36331 Windows for third-party applications may disappearbehind the WorkFlows client

Occasionally, when a third-party application is launched byWorkFlows, the window or dialog will only display briefly beforebeingmoved automatically to behind the WorkFlows clientwindow. While this problem has been fixed for applications thatview report logs and for print dialogs, this problem might occurin other components of the WorkFlows client.

Known issues

  |  21

UNI-37099 User photo helpers may not respond on Macintoshworkstations

OnMacintosh workstations with a 3.4.1 Service Pack 3, ServicePack 4, Service Pack 5, or 3.5 version of the WorkFlows client, attempting to open the Update User Photo helper may causethe helper to stop responding. For 3.4.1 Service Pack 3, ServicePack 4 and Service Pack 5 clients, this problem is caused by theabsence of certain components that were delivered byQuicktime that interface with previous Apple versions of Java. For the 3.5 client, the Oracle delivery of Java 7 is included withthe WorkFlows client and, consequently, does not contain allthe components that would support the user photo helperfeatures. Because of this problem, importing an individualpatron photo from a file or capturing a photo from a webcammay not work on 3.4.1 Service Pack 3, Service Pack 4, orService Pack 5 WorkFlows clients, and will not work on a 3.5WorkFlows client.

Specifically, this problem arises out of the functionality thatsupports webcam capture of patron photos; display of thephotos within the WorkFlows client and use of the Batch PhotoUtility wizard still works as expected.

A workaround for this problem is to use the Batch Photo ImportUtility wizard to load patron photos.
