Grupurile de racire lichide ale Seriilor CWFR sunt proiectate pentru a lua avantajlul “free cooling”, acesta este suprimarea directain mediul extern a sarcinii termice a camerei conditionate. Aceste sisteme sunt utilizate in camerele unde sarcina termica este mare pe tot parcursul anului, chiar si in timpul iernii.

In acest caz, temperatura exterioara este putin mai mica decat temperatura camerei controlate. Astfel, apa curenta este racitaprintr-o baterie externa, in loc de ciclul frigorific.

In acest fel este atinsa o eficienta ridicata a energiei sezoniere, redu-candu-se consumul de energie la absorbtia ventilatorului.

The liquid chillers of the CWFR Series are designed to take advantage of the “free-cooling”, that is the direct rejection to the external environment of the thermal load of the conditioned room.These systems are used in rooms where the thermal load is high during all year, even in winter.

In this case, the external temperature is rather lower than the tempe-rature of the controlled room. Thus the supply water is cooled through an external fi nned coil, instead of the refrigerating cycle.

In this way a high seasonal energy effi ciency is achieved, reducing the energy consumptions to the fan absorption.

COMPRESOR SCROLL, cu incalzitor electric cu carter. VAPORIZATOR CU PLACI, placi brazate din otel inoxidabil AISI 316, cu termostat antiinghet si presostat diferential/ comutator debitpentru a protej a circuitul frigorific.

CONDENSATOR CU BATERIE, cu tuburi de cupru si aripioarede aluminiu, protej ate de un grilaj metalic.

Controlul este un factor cheie pentru un sistem de managementla sarcini partiale. Prin intermediul optiunilor diferite de manage-ment, unitatile FR sunt capabile sa asigure adaptabilitate ridicatala diferite cerinte.Controlul este realizat prin intermediul managementului compresoare-lor si un ventil modulator 3-cai.Managementul compresorului permite optimizarea functionariilor la sarcini partiale.Ventilul modulator 3-cai realizeaza controlul temperaturii apei curente(in cazul functionarii pe timpul iernii).

MOD DE CONTROL

The control logic is a key factor for a system management at part loads. Through various management options, FR units are able to assure the highest adaptation to different requirements.

The control is performed through the management of compressors and 3-way modulating valve.The compressor management allows the optimization of their running at part loads.The 3-way modulating valve performs the control of the supply water temperature (in case of winter running).

sistemele functioneaza in aceste conditii pentru cea mai mare parte din durata de viata.

c) Mod de f unctionare pe timpul iernii Apa curenta este racita in bateria ' free-cooling', profitand

de temperatura exterioara scazuta. Temperatura apei este contro-lata de un ventil modulator 3-cai. Astfel, consumul de energieeste redus de absorbtia ventilatorului, minimizand eficienta energetica.

b) Intermediate season mode When the external air temperature is 1°C lower than the supply

water, the 3-way valve feeds the free-cooling fi nned coil. The whole water mass fl ow is pre-cooled, while the compressors run at part load, to maintain the set-point conditions.

This control mode is particularly important at mean latitudes: systems operate under these conditions for the largest part of life time.

c) Winter mode The supply water is cooled down in the free-cooling fi nned coil,

taking advantage of the low external temperature. The water temperature is controlled by the 3-way modulating valve. Thus energy consumptions are reduced to the fan absorption, maximizing the energy effi ciency.

CWFR units are designed to allow the network connection by means of supervision systems. They allow the remote control of the main functions of the system. In addition, it is possible to connect the FR units to a BMS system by protocol converters, provided as optional (ModBus, Echelon, BacNet).

The Free cooling technique allows remarkable energy savings, depending on the external air temperature.In the following, some examples of monthly energy consumptions of two units of the same cooling capacity, with and without Free cooling, are reported. Four European cities (Milan, Paris, Frankfurt and Stockholm) have been considered.The annual energy saving of a CWFR unit can reach the 50 % of the total energy consumptions, as for Stockholm.
