Industry 4.0 factory? A smart factory!

• Interoperability — interaction between machines, devices, sensors, people

• Information transparency — the systems create a virtual copy of the physical world through sensor data in order to contextualize information

CLOUD What we need is…

On 19 April 2016, the EC launched the first industry-related initiative of the Digital Single Market package. Various initiatives for digitising industry, such as Industrie 4.0, Smart Industry, project calls under COSME or Horizon2020. The mid-term review of the Digital Single Market strategy will focus on digitising the European industry oriented actions

…but it is costly

EU financing – mobilised up to €50 billion of public and private investments in

support of the digitisation of industry • €37 billion investment to boost digital innovation. • €5.5 billion national and regional investments in digital innovation hubs. • €6.3 billion for the first production lines of next-generation electronic components. • €6.7 billion for the European Cloud Initiative.

supporting institutions, entrepreneur associations and many more

What did... (for example)


• Created in 2011 within ARRSA’s incubator co-funded by the European Union through the Measure 3.1 of the Operational Programme – Innovative Economy

• Scope of activities: design, manufacturing and implementation of innovative, unique, specialized machines and devices, single elements or integral parts of existing systems for flexographic industry for various branches

- the Research and Implementation Bureau


• The geographical market: Poland, countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Colombia, Kazachstan, USA, Uzbekistan, New Zealand

• BBW cooperates with the providers such as Siemens, Lenze, GEW International, BST, Bosch – the global leaders of innovations and Industry 4.0



• BBW employs a team of specialist-engineers with reach experience in various field of automation, precision mechanics, mechatronics and pneumatics to implement diverse and unusual projects and/or to upgrade existing solutions

• The machines and supporting accessories are tested in the company’s factory. Each product is ready to work just after leaving BBW and can be employed in work right after its installation on the designated place

• The result: unique, taylored solution designed and delivered in the flexible process to reduce production time and investment costs

• Industry 4.0: the company uses modules already created by the best providers and can deliver for the most modern customers

Equipped with 3D printers, scanners, laser cutters and other modern machinery, they offer services to the community, including the business sector

The customers or users (depending on financial model in various organisations) can arrive with a prototype or an IT design. A physical prototype can be reproduced after scannning. An IT design can be sent to the printer - any network 3D printer in any place in the world
