about meI am always fascinated by work of art. I believe that things don’t just have to be useful, but they can be beautiful as well.

This work portfolio presents some of the work i have been involved with in the course of my recent work life.

I have done numerous works in technical writing, designing graphic arts, doing simple web designs, logo marks, database and just about anything i come across with in my job both as a Univers i ty Inst ructor and as an Operations Coordinator.

My idea always is that, while we can do the work at hand, we better give our best in what we can give. While it may not be among the world’s best, but we can, at the end of the day be proud that we have extracted within us, that element of greatness and which have in a way or the other contributed to the world’s pool of ideas, innovation and a great work of art or of science.

In the realm of greatness, art and science blurs along with what is material in one hand, and spiritual, in another.Hence, one must not put a great distinction between what a great scientific work is and what a great artistic work is. Because, for all meaningful purposes they speak for themselves, that is, that they are in themselves great.

The TAD Group Company Profile was a work i created wherein i build from the scratch a truly workable and presentable company profile for TAD including the new logo marks and integrating concepts totally different so they form a coherent whole. I tried to present the TAD Environment and TAD Logistics as a coherent system of companies one dealing with Hazardous waste treatment and the other dealing with the Logistics side.

This website is created using WordPress and self-hosted on my mac. This is a concept design for a company that my Boss is starting up that has something to do with iOS app development.

the conceptArtistic concept always boil down with the purpose and practicality. One does need to understand that the creative process is a purposeful process.

For art usually is borne on an intent, either to express, to impress, to inspire, and at other times, to confuse. Nonetheless it starts with a purpose.

Here are some work i have done with logo marks, stationeries, company profile,

The creative process is purposeful. One creates because the creation fulfills a need. Everything is created twice. First as a product of imagination, and hence of the mind

and second , as a product of action. And one without the other is futile.

research abstractThe Millennium Declaration of 2000 specifically outlines HIV/AIDS as among the fiercest challenges that the world would have to face in the 21st Century. Consequently, stopping the spread of the infection has to be made integral to any development endeavor aimed at improving the lives and wellbeing of citizens of the world. The United Nations acknowledges good governance to be the means to achieving the targets set forth in the Declaration, and that, principles of good governance has to be integrated as well to the creation and management of institutions, processes, and programs aimed at beating the targets to achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

This paper reviews the context that would paint the present and future scenario of HIV/AIDS prevention and mitigation in the Philippines and analyzes the same to identify some elements of intervention needed to operationalize strategy for effectively responding to the challenge in a way that integrates pr inc ip les of good governance. Particular case in point for analysis is that of the HIV/AIDS program of Zamboanga city, which won the Galing Pook Special Citation Award in 2006 and recipient of various foreign funding programs on HIV/AIDS. The paper thus,

looks into the program to identify some elements which have made it successful and which may be of replication to other localities. And, based on discussions on the context and background of HIV/AIDS in the country, it hopes to identify some specific points to be the focus of strategy, and into contributing to program improvement. The paper argues that any such approach to good governance in the area of HIV/AIDS, also has to be contextualized into the cultural-moral realities of the locality, and that for it to be truly participatory, it has to find engagement and integration with the existing reinforcing cultural norms.

“Any Approach to Good Governance in the in the Area of HIV/AIDS Mitigation has to find engagement and integration with existing reinforcing cultural norms.”

research abstractPublic Administration, within the context of public sector governance, plays a key role in Phi l ippine economic development. Although most analysts would single out the importance of private sector-led growth and sound macroeconomic policy as drivers of development, a closer look into the Philippine economic situation reveal major issues and factors vital to the attainment of economic development encompassed within the sphere of public administration and governance.

Hence, this paper argues that crucial to better prospects for the Philippine economy are improvements in fiscal and administrative performance of public institutions and the public sector in general.

The pape r r e v i ews some ke y macroeconomic issues af fect ing economic growth in the Philippines and attempts to give some insights into perplexing questions as to why the Philippine economy remain sluggish.

Analysis centers on some critical Public Administration reform levers as sound fiscal administration, better judicial administration and the rule of law, public accountabi l i ty and transparency, bureaucratic efficiency and innovation,

and other rather institutional factors that bear on prospects for higher rates of economic growth thereby pointing to the need to accelerate reforms in the public sector as key to economic development.

“...brighter prospect for the Philippine economy necessitates a whole-of-government reform that focuses on key reform levers of sound fiscal administration, bureaucratic

efficiency and innovation, strengthening transparency and accountability, and promotion of rule of law and judicial reforms.”
