Elevate is CPP’s new assessment delivery platform that will soon be replacing SkillsOne. Elevate has the same functionality as SkillsOne, but it’s much easier to use and has more features to help save you administration time.

Learn more about Elevate here.

1. What is Elevate®?

2. What is an “upgrade”?

An upgrade is an invitation to move your current SkillsOne account to our new assessment delivery platform, Elevate®—for free.

UPGRADE PROCESS OVERVIEW

In order to make the upgrade process as seamless as possible, we will be selecting small groups of SkillsOne customers at a time to upgrade to Elevate, starting March 2017. This will allow us to provide the exceptional level of customer support you are used to receiving from CPP.

When you are selected, you will receive an email titled “Coming soon: Free upgrade from SkillsOne to Elevate!” It will explain the upgrade process in more detail and provide you with a “sneak peek” of the Elevate platform.

Within 2 weeks of receiving the first email, you will receive a second email titled “Upgrade from SkillsOne to Elevate for free!” Once you receive this email, you can upgrade at any time by logging in to your SkillsOne account or by clicking the button in the email. See question 4 for a more detailed overview of the upgrade process.

3. Why should I upgrade to Elevate®?

Elevate makes the administrative parts of your job easy and simple—so you can focus on what’s really important: helping your clients.

4. What is the upgrade process like, and what should I expect?

The upgrade process is easy—it takes only 5 minutes—and your SkillsOne information will be imported to Elevate automatically.

DESIGNED WITH YOU IN MIND

VETTED BY PRACTITIONERS

We have designed Elevate with your needs in mind, and with continual feedback from practitioners. Through this feedback we have been able to make Elevate a much more powerful platform than SkillsOne—making sending assessments, purchasing inventory, and generating reports much easier and more intuitive.

All new CPP customers have been using Elevate since February 2016, and we have been receiving excellent feedback from those customers’ based on their experiences. We are excited to have SkillsOne customers experience the many benefits Elevate has to offer, and are beginning free upgrades starting March 2017.

UPGRADE PROCESS

Starting March 2017, we will be selecting small groups of SkillsOne customers at a time to upgrade to Elevate, allowing us to provide the exceptional level of customer support you are used to receiving from CPP.

Note: If you have more questions about this process, please contact Customer Relations at [email protected] or (800) 624-1765, Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM Pacific time.

• When you are selected, you will receive an email invitation to begin upgrading your SkillsOne account to Elevate—for free.

• Once you receive the invitation, you can begin your upgrade as soon as you’re ready. You’ll have the option to postpone your upgrade if you need to.

• When you upgrade, your SkillsOne contact information, unused inventory, license renewal date, purchase eligibility, and up to 5 years of client report PDFs will be imported to Elevate automatically.

• After you upgrade, your SkillsOne account will be deactivated, and you will begin using Elevate to send assessments, purchase inventory, generate reports, and more!

BEFORE YOU UPGRADE

• Make sure all your clients have completed their current assessments on SkillsOne. Assessments not completed on SkillsOne cannot be completed on Elevate, and will need to be resent to clients after you have upgraded to Elevate.

• Generate reports for all your clients on SkillsOne. You can access reports you import from SkillsOne and reprint them on Elevate, but you cannot generate new reports from assessments completed by clients on SkillsOne.

5. By when do I need to upgrade to Elevate®?

Once you receive your email invitation to upgrade, you can upgrade your SkillsOne account to Elevate as soon as you’re ready.

There is no set date yet at which you need to upgrade, but eventually all SkillsOne customers will have to upgrade to Elevate. See question 6 for more details.

If you cannot upgrade to Elevate when you receive your email invitation, you can postpone your upgrade.

6. Do I have to upgrade to Elevate®?

Yes, all SkillsOne customers will have to upgrade to Elevate, as eventually SkillsOne will no longer be supported by CPP and will be shut down.

We do not yet have a shut-down date. But we expect the upgrade process to continue throughout the rest of 2017. Once we have a set date, we will send clear communications to any remaining SkillsOne customers before the site is shut down.

We understand that change is hard, but we want to assure you that Elevate will make it easier for you to send assessments, purchase inventory, generate reports, and more. And the sooner you upgrade, the sooner you’ll see the many benefits that Elevate has to offer.

Learn more about the benefits of Elevate here.

7. What if I cannot upgrade to Elevate® when I receive my email invitation?

Note: You can postpone your upgrade from SkillsOne to Elevate only once.

To postpone your upgrade, follow the steps below. Step 1. Go to SkillsOne at www.skillsone.com and log in to your SkillsOne account.

Step 3. From the Request to Postpone Your Elevate Upgrade pop-up you will be able to postpone your upgrade by 1, 2, or 3 months. Select your preferred postponement period and answer the remaining questions to continue.

Step 2. Because you have been selected to upgrade, you will see an Upgrade from SkillsOne to Elevate pop-up as soon as you log in. Click the Request to Postpone Upgrade link to continue.

Note: If you do not see the Upgrade from SkillsOne to Elevate pop-up, you may not have been selected to upgrade to Elevate yet. If you would like to request an upgrade, click here to send us an email.

Note: Remember, you can postpone your upgrade from SkillsOne to Elevate only once.

Step 4. Once you have finished answering the questions, click Submit Request to submit your postponement request.

Step 5. You should now see a Your Request Has Been Submitted Successfully pop-up, confirming that your request has been submitted.

You can continue using SkillsOne until your postponement period has passed. Once your postponement period has passed, you will be notified to upgrade to Elevate again by email and through your SkillsOne site.

Click the Back to SkillsOne button to return to SkillsOne.

8. What will happen to my SkillsOne account after I’ve upgraded to Elevate®?

Once you have completed the upgrade process, your SkillsOne account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to log in to the account.

Remember, your SkillsOne contact information, unused inventory, license renewal date, purchase eligibility, and up to 5 years of client report PDFs will be imported to Elevate automatically—so you’ll have everything you need to continue sending assessments to clients, purchasing inventory, and generating reports through Elevate.

If you have more questions, please contact Customer Relations at [email protected] or (800) 624-1765, Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM Pacific time.

9. Can I request to upgrade to Elevate® now?

Yes, of course. To request an upgrade, click here to send us an email. Or, log in to your SkillsOne account at www.skillsone.com and click on the Free Elevate Upgrade tab.

Then, click on the Request Free Upgrade button.

To make sure that all the client report PDFs you select are imported to your Elevate account successfully, you must do the following before upgrading:

• Generate reports for all your clients on SkillsOne. You can access client report PDFs you import from SkillsOne and reprint them on Elevate, but you cannot generate new reports from assessments completed on SkillsOne.

11. When I upgrade, is my SkillsOne account information brought over to Elevate®?

Yes. As part of the upgrade process your SkillsOne contact information, unused inventory, license renewal date, purchase eligibility, and up to 5 years of client report PDFs are imported to Elevate automatically.

Note: You can choose which 5-year period of client report PDFs are imported to Elevate as part of the upgrade process.

10. How can I prepare for my upgrade to Elevate®?

As part of the upgrade process, your SkillsOne contact information, unused inventory, license renewal date, purchase eligibility, and up to 5 years of client report PDFs are imported to Elevate automatically.

If you have more questions, contact Customer Relations at [email protected] or (800) 624-1765, Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM Pacific time.

13. When will SkillsOne be shut down?

We do not yet have a shut-down date, but we expect the upgrade process to continue throughout the rest of 2017. Once we have a set date, we will send clear communications to any remaining SkillsOne customers before the site is shut down.

14. What happens if I choose not to upgrade my SkillsOne account to Elevate® after SkillsOne has been shut down?

If you choose not to upgrade your SkillsOne account, you will no longer be able to send assessments or generate reports through CPP.

If you later choose to send assessments and generate reports through CPP, you can register for an Elevate account at any time.

If you have more questions, contact Customer Relations at [email protected] or (800) 624-1765, Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM Pacific time.

Once your client report PDFs have been imported to Elevate, you will be able to reprint these reports as many times as you’d like, free of charge.

12. What can I do with my SkillsOne client report PDFs on Elevate®?

Note: For security and privacy reasons, client assessment data are not imported to Elevate.
