STep 1: Thread your needle with 3 yards of FireLine (or start witha length that you feel comfortable with and add more later).

Leaving about a 12-inch tail for attaching the clasp, string two Tilabeads and tie them together in a double knot so that they are sittingside by side:

STep 2: Go back up the left hole of the right Tila bead, down theright hole of the left Tila bead and up the left hole of the left Tilabead so that you are exiting out of the top left side of the left Tilabead:

= seed bead

= Color1 SuperDuo bead

= Color2 SuperDuo bead

= Tila Bead

ABOUT SUpeRDUO BeADS

Twin beads and SuperDuo beads are often referred to as two-hole seed beads and they look almost exactlyalike with a few exceptions. Twin beads, made by Czech company Preciosa Ornela, have the same ovalshape but are often somewhat irregular in size. SuperDuo beads are pressed glass beads (i.e., made ina mold) so they are a bit thicker and much more uniform in size than Twin beads. As of this writing,SuperDuo beads are rather hard to find and seem to come in two sizes: 2.5mm by 5mm and 2mm by5mm. In some instances, SuperDuo beads can be used as substitute for Twin beads and vice versa, butsometimes not. It depends on the design. For this pattern, I used 2.5 by 5mm SuperDuo beads. Chris

STep 3: String two seed beads,a Color1 SuperDuo bead, twoseed beads and a Tila bead.

Go around and back downthrough the right hole of theTila bead that you just added:

STep 4: String a seed bead anda Color2 SuperDuo bead. Godown through the right holeof the Color1 SuperDuo beadhighlighted in ReD. Stringanother Color2 SuperDuo bead

and a seed bead. Go downthrough the right hole of theleft Tila bead and then upthe left hole of the right Tilabead that you strung in Step 1(highlighted in ReD):

STep 5: String a seed bead,go through the right hole of the Color2 SuperDuo beadhighlighted in ReD, string a Color1SuperDuo bead, go through theright hole of the Color2 SuperDuobead highlighted in ReD, string aseed bead and a Tila bead.

Go around and down through

the right hole of the top left Tilabead highlighted in ReD:

STep 6: Go back up throughthe left hole of the Tila beadthat you added in the last step(highlighted in ReD):

STep 7: Go back around anddown through the right hole of the left Tila bead and then backup the left hole of the Tila beadthat you exited at the end of thelast step (highlighted in ReD):

STep 8: Go back down throughthe right hole of this same Tilabead (highlighted in ReD):

STep 9: String three seed beads,go through the right hole of the Color1 SuperDuo beadhighlighted in ReD, stringthree more seed beads and go

down through the right holeof the bottom right Tila beadhighlighted in ReD:


STep 10: Go back up throughthe left hole of the right Tilabead (highlighted in ReD),down through the right holeof the left Tila bead and thenup through the left hole of this same left Tila bead so thatyou are exiting out of the topleft hole of the left Tila bead(highlighted in ReD):

STep 11: Go back up throughthe two seed beads, the lefthole of the Color1 SuperDuobead, the two seed beads andthe left hole of the top left Tilabead (highlighted in ReD):

STep 12: String three seedbeads, a Color1 SuperDuobead, three more seed beadsand a Tila bead.

Go around and back downthrough the right hole of theTila bead that you just added:



STep 13: String a seed beadand a Color2 SuperDuo bead.

Go down through the right holeof the Color1 SuperDuo beadthat you added in the last step(highlighted in ReD).

String another Color2 SuperDuobead and a seed bead.

Go down through the right holeof the left Tila bead and thenback up through the left holeof the right Tila bead (both Tilabeads highlighted in ReD):

STep 14: String a seed bead,go through the right hole of the Color2 SuperDuo beadhighlighted in ReD, stringa Color1 SuperDuo bead,

go through the right hole of the Color2 SuperDuo beadhighlighted in ReD, string aseed bead and a Tila bead.

Go around and down throughthe right hole of the top left Tilabead highlighted in ReD:

STep 15: Go back up throughthe left hole of the Tila beadthat you added in the last step(highlighted in ReD):

STep 16: Go back around anddown through the right holeof the left Tila bead and then

back up the left hole of the rightTila bead that you exited at theend of the last step (highlightedin ReD):

STep 17: Go back down throughthe right hole of this same Tilabead (highlighted in ReD):


STep 18: String two seed beads,go through the right hole of the Color1 SuperDuo beadhighlighted in ReD, string twomore seed beads and go downthrough the right hole of the Tilabead highlighted in ReD:

STep 19: Go back up throughthe left hole of the right Tilabead (highlighted in ReD), downthrough the right hole of the leftTila bead and then up throughthe left hole of this same leftTila bead so that you are exitingout of the top left hole of the leftTila bead (highlighted in ReD):




STep 26: String another seedbead. Go down and aroundthrough the seed bead and theright hole of the left Tila beadhighlighted in ReD, and then upthrough the left hole of the rightTila bead and the seed beadhighlighted in ReD:

STep 27: Go back aroundthrough the beads highlighted inReD and the clasp several times:

Weave back into the bracelet,knot in several places and thencut your thread.

STep 28: To attach the clasp to

the other end of your bracelet,thread your needle with the tailthread from Step 1.

Go down and then up throughthe Tila bead highlighted inReD so that you are exiting outof the top left side of the top leftTila bead:

Repeat Steps 22-27.

STep 22: To attach one endof the clasp, string three seedbeads, go back down throughthe right hole of the left Tilabead and up through the lefthole of the right Tila beadhighlighted in ReD:

STep 23: String three seedbeads. Go down through theright hole of the right Tila bead(highlighted in ReD):

STep 24: Go back up throughthe left hole of the right Tilabead and the seed bead high-lighted in ReD:

STep 25: String two seed beads.Go through the clasp and thenback down through the last seedbead that you just strung:

STep 20: Go back up throughthe three seed beads, the lefthole of the Color1 SuperDuobead, the three seed beads andthe left hole of the left Tila bead(all beads highlighted in ReD):

STep 21: Repeat Step 3 to Step20 until your bracelet is thelength you want it, minus abouta half inch and the length of your clasp:
