TO INFORM THE STUDENTS WHAT IS WEB 2.0 IS AND HOW WAS THE WEB 2.0 CREATED,

THE KEY IDEAS ON IT, THE TEHNOLOGY AND ALSO THE RELATION OF IT WITH EDUCATION.

coined in 2005 by Tim

O’Reilly and it was a

different thing for

different people.

Before the web was usually

one way and no feedback

was given by the users.

There was also a difference

‘ARCHITECTURE’ AND ‘PARTICIPATION’ ARE EQUALLY EMPHASIZED TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER.

WEB 2.0 MAY INCREASE ITS VALUE WHEN MORE USERS USE IT.

CONTENTS WILL INCREASE.

SCALES AND TOPOLOGY ARE CONSIDERED BY MANY BECAUSE THEY ARE THE KEY

FACTORS IN THE SUCCESS OF THE INTERNET.

THIS ARCHITECTURE CONNECTS PEOPLE TO CONTENT ; PEOPLE TO PEOPLE ;

CONTENT TO CONTENT ALL THE TIME.

AS AN EXAMPLE, USERS ARE CONNECTED TO CONTENTS IN THE WAY OF CLOUD

STORAGE IN THEIR DEVICES.

CONCLUSION WEB 2.0 CAN BE CATEGORIZED AS A QUIET REVOLUTION TOWARDS OPEN

SOURCE AND INDEPENDENT METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS.

PUBLISHERS MAY NOT SURVIVE IF THEIR SOFTWARES ARE NEEDED TO BE PAID

BECAUSE USERS PREFER IT TO BE FREE.

THE STUDENTS WHO STUDY LANGUAGE BY THEMSELVES. THE STUDENTS WILL NO

LONGER RELY 100% ON TEACHERS SINCE THEY CAN FIND IT WITHIN A CLICK. APART

FROM THAT, THEY MAY SHARE THEIR INFORMATION WITH THEIR PEERS AND FRIENDS.

THIS WILL RESULTS IN LEARNING TOGETHER AND HELPING EACH OTHER.
