• Doyouneedinsurance?Youareresponsibleformakingsurethatyourfundraisingeventdoesnotposearisktoothers.Thereforeforeventssuchasasponsoredwalkorsportingevent,publicliabilityinsurancemaybenecessary.Checkthatanybuildingsorequipmentthatyouhirearecovered.Insurancemaybeincludedinthehirefeebutalwayscheck.

• Do you need a Health and safety risk assessment?Most events, especially if held outdoors, will require a riskassessmenttoidentify,reduceandcontroltherisktopeopleattendingafundraisingevent.
