Brauwiesen LaGer11% sTwG (4.8% alc) and brewed from light-coloured barley malt, wheat malt & Tettnanger aromatic hops in keeping with an old rhineland tradition. Our special fermented yeast gives the beer its light & sparkling aromatic hop taste.

Brauwiesen BrOwn12% sTwG (5.1% alc) and brewed from light and dark-coloured barley malt, wheat malt, Viennese & caramel malt. The five different kinds of malt are vital for the beer‘s aromatic malt flavour. Tettnanger aromatic hops and fermented yeast round off this brown beer.

They are a natural product, stored for at least 6 weeks at 0° c and are not filtered.

MAxIMILIANS-BRAUWIESEN THe BeGinninG

in 1890 the Schamott-Schlösschen was built right on the banks of the rhine.

it was used as Didier works' headquarters for a long time before later becoming a residential house.

in 1994 the somewhat aging Schamott- Schlösschen was acquired by Maximilian Ohlig & rennovated within only one year.

The rustic interior was maintained and a sparkle was added to the outside.

The large Braustadl, the brewery & the kitchen area were added, the grounds & self-service beer garden were erected - and it was ready for business.

in april 1995 Maximilians Brauwiesen was officially opened.

ever since then, no matter what the occasion, the unfiltered beer specialities, the Brauwiesen cuisine & pleasant atmosphere have been attracting young & old alike to the Brauwiesen.

The family business is led just as lovingly now as it was in the past by the Ohlig family along with the best support from the Brauwiesen team.

TecHnicaL speciFicaTiOnsThe Schamott-Schlösschen, with a seating capacity of around 400, is divided into a rustic, nook & cranny-filled ground floor & a spaciously-designed function room on the first floor.

Our Braustadl, spanning 300 square metres, offers space for around 200 guests and houses our brewery's 15 hl brewhouse. Overlooking the rhine, the Schamott-Schlösschen sun terrace can accommodate a further 400 guests. Our self-service beer garden on the banks of the rhine has around 1500 seats, a playground, and green fields galore.

The premises cover 26500 square metres.

Both large and small vehicles are always more than welcome at Maximilians-Brauwiesen. no matter whether you are planning a trip followed by a meal, a meal followed by a trip, or a stoppover for a large group, at Maximilians your guests can choose something from our extensive menu to suit their taste and satisfy their hunger. You would rather offer your guests a choice of dishes? no problem. we recommend you to make a reservation in advance for groups that wish to be seated together.
