STEP 1. Locate the labeled jamb assemblies and sill assembly. Lay the Head Assembly (#01), Operator Side Assembly (#02), Stationary Side Assembly (#03), and Sill Assembly (#04), on the floor as detailed. Be sure that the interior of the assemblies are on the floor, and casing is suspended.

STEP 2. Using your hand, insert two Bracing Brackets (#17) in the pre-notched locations on casing SIDE assembly. Apply Step 2 procedure to Operator Side Assembly (#2) AND Stationary Side Assembly (#3).

STEP 3. Apply high quality silicone at Side Jamb Assembly (#2) and (#3). Apply silicone at three locations on the jamb:

1. Apply a continuous bead of silicone at exterior casing miter as detailed 2. Apply a continuous bead of silicone at frame end-work as detailed 3. Apply a dab of silicone at the top of vinyl weatherstrip as detailed. Be sure

that entire top face of weatherstip is covered.

Note: Silicone bead must be continuous along jamb and casing to ensure water leakage will not occur.

STEP 4. Locate the pre-notched locations on the head casing, and fit the head casing on the

Bracing Brackets (#17) located on the side casing from Step #7. Use a rubber mallet to pound the casing from the Head Jamb Assembly (#1) onto the side casing on the Side Jamb Assembly (#2) or Side Jamb Assembly (#3). Repeat procedure for opposite side.

STEP 5. Fasten the Head Jamb Assembly (#1) to the Side Jamb Assemblies (#2) and (#3), using a screw gun. Locate the pre-drilled holes on the head jamb; use the #7x2 PFH TWIN FAST 3/4 THRD fasteners supplied to join the assemblies.

STEP 6. Apply a 1/4" continuous bead of high-quality silicone at the base of Side Jamb Assemblies (#2) and (#3) as detailed.

Note: Silicone bead must be continuous along jamb and casing, to ensure water leakage will not occur.

STEP 7. Fasten the Sill Assembly (#4) to the Side Jamb Assemblies (#2) and (#3). Locate the pre-drilled holes on the sill.

1. Fasten the Base Bracket (#8) to the sill, at the two center holes, using the#6x1-1/4 PFH fastener supplied.

2. Exterior and interior pre-drilled holes on the sill, use the #7x2 PFH TWIN FAST 3/4 THRD fasteners supplied, to join the sill assembly to the side jamb assemblies.

DO NOT install the panels into the frame until the frame has been installed into the RO/MO.

RO/MO

FFFrrraaammmeee IIInnnssstttaaallllllaaatttiiiooonnn PPPrrreeeppp STEP 1. Clean the RO/MO, and clear area of any obstructions.

STEP 2. Check all sides of RO/MO with a 4' level. Make necessary changes to RO/MO, to ensure sides are accurate.

STEP 3. Check all 4 corners with a carpenter's square to ensure corners are even.

STEP 4. Using a tape measure, check that the overall height and width is consistent across entire RO/MO. Check at least three locations for each, the width and height for consistency. If width or height make changes make consistent RO/MO.

STEP 5. Using a tape measure, measure diagonally from corner to corner, to verify that all sides are level and corners are square. The diagonal measurements must be equal, for the opening to be square.

NOTE. If the opening is not square, the RO/MO clearance must be increased to allow room for shims. The RO/MO must be shimmed to allow the sides to be level, and allow the corners to be square.

Assembled Frame

2 1/2" Corrugated Nail

FFFrrraaammmeee IIInnnssstttaaallllllaaatttiiiooonnn STEP 1. Make sure that the RO/MO is straight and level, prior to frame installation. Clean the

sill RO/MO surface, and clear of any obstructions.

STEP 2. Apply a continuous bead of high quality sealant around the exterior perimeter of the RO/MO, at the head and side locations. Sealant should be applied on the exterior sheathing about 1" out from RO/MO.

STEP 3. Set the frame in the RO/MO. The frame should be tilted outward about 15 ⁰ - 30⁰ as detailed, then tilt forward to set in place. Make sure the frame sill is centered on the RO/MO base.

STEP 4. Once the frame is set. Tack the bottom corners of the casing, using the supplied 2 1/2" Corrugated Nail. Tack one nail at each end of Casing. Place nail about 2" up from sill.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT nail the entire frame to the RO/MO, as the frame will not stay square when the panels are installed.

STEP 5. Apply two separate continuous beads of high quality sealant along the provided Sill

Nosing (#6). Apply one bead along the top of the sill nosing; the face that butts against the sill. Place a second continuous bead along the back of the sill nosing; the face that butts against RO/MO. Adhere the Sill Nosing to the RO/MO and Sill.

STEP 6. Nail the provided Sill Nosing (#6) to the RO/MO with the provided 2 1/2" Corrugated Nails. Place the first nail about 2" in from the nosing end, and continue the nail placement at about 6" - 8" O.C.

STEP 3. Slide the Stationary Panel to the opposite side of the frame, so it is resting fully on the

setting block. The edge of the panel should be flush with the edge of the setting block at the center of the frame.

STEP 4. Locate the pre-drilled hole locations on the bottom front face of the stationary panel, and align the Wide "L" Angle Bracket (#16) with the holes. Fasten the Wide "L" Angle Bracket (#16) to the Stationary Panel (#14) with the supplied #8x1-1/4 PH PN HD screw as detailed.

STEP 5. Locate the pre-drilled hole locations on the top, end face of the stationary panel, and align the Narrow "L" Angle Bracket (#15) with the holes.

5.1. Fasten the Narrow "L" Angle Bracket (#15) to the Stationary Panel (#14) with the supplied #8x1-1/4 PH PN HD screw, as detailed.

5.2. Rotate the stationary panel with the attached "L" Angle Bracket (#15) until the angle bracket is aligned with pre-drilled hole on the Head Jamb Assembly (#1). Fasten the Narrow "L" Angle Bracket to the head jamb assembly with the supplied #8x1-1/4 PH PN HD screw as detailed.
