Meeting eye care demands with competence
Carl Zeiss has been meeting highest eye care demands with precision engineering and optics for more than 160 years. In 1912, Carl Zeiss developed the first slit lamp together with the Swedish ophthalmologist and Nobel laureate Allvar Gullstrand. Since then, generations of leading eye care professionals have played a key role in helping us perfect this unique eye examination and therapy technology. The result? Premium slit lamp quality and reliability – the SL 115 Classic, SL 120 and SL 130 from Carl Zeiss.

SL 120The all-rounder for outstanding performance
SL 115 Classic
As a highly powerful and versatile slit lamp, the SL 120 provides superb support for anterior segment, vitreous and fundus assessments. Sharp images with excellent detail resolution and high contrast enable visualization of finest structures.
Adjustment flexibility
The system's precision image supports a variety of adjustment options such as slit
image rotation, letting you focus directly on to the object of interest. Its compact
and simple design allows short working distances and easy access to the patient's
eyes. What's more, all slit lamp examinations can be performed with one hand.
Features at a glance
• Slit images with high-contrast resolution and detail for reliable examinations and
contact lens fittings
• Single-hand operation for precise and intuitive ergonomics
• Integrated power supply for immediate plug-and-play readiness
• Integrated swing-in yellow filter for fluorescence examinations and contact
lens fittings
• Stereo microscope with 3 magnification steps
• Super high-eyepoint eyepieces offer eyeglass wearers excellent working
convenience
• Large illuminated field for superb view of the entire anterior segment
• Filters to increase the contrast in red-free observation and fluorescence
• Integrated UV and IR filter in compliance with ISO 10939

Slit image adaptability
Slit decentration enables more precise examinations of low-contrast findings such
as corneal scars and better after-cataract diagnosis. Also, the slit image width and
length can be continuously adapted to the size of the anomaly.
Features at a glance
• Excellent optical transmission with high resolution and contrast for best observation
• Single-hand operation and ergonomic design for comfortable body posture throughout
the procedure
• Optimized ease of use through quick action brake and easy-grip controls
• Stereo microscope with 5 magnification steps, choice of parallel or
convergent tube
• Super high-eyepoint eyepieces for eyeglass wearers
• Large illuminated field for superb view of the entire anterior segment
• Imaging solutions* for convenient documentation
• Two types of applanation tonometers* for precise intraocular pressure measurements
• Coagulation laser attachment via VISULINK® 532/U*
• Tiltable prism head* for reduced reflections during contact lens examinations and
better peripheral observation of the posterior segment

Maximum information
Crisp, highly detailed images provide a wealth of information.
Superb optical transmission enables examinations with reduced
light exposure and greater patient comfort. A stereo microscope
with 5 magnification steps, large field of view and super high-eye-
point eyepieces also offers eyeglass wearers an outstanding image.
Convenient operation
All system adjustments can be conveniently performed with both
hands. The slit position can be rotated to the object of interest
or decentered for contrast enhancement and better detection of
fine corneal lesions. Also, the prism head* can be tilted up to 20
degrees to reduce reflections during contact lens examinations
and for better chamber angle and fundus observation. Intuitive
operation is provided by the joystick and quick-action brake. The
optional ACCENTO® ergo tube* supports a comfortable working
position to prevent neck strain.
The SL 130 slit lamp is a premium instrument for the complete range of diagnostic and laser treatment applications. With its high-quality optics, intuitive handling and special features, it is designed to deliver reliable performance for many years to come.
* Option
SL 130Premium optics from diagnosis to laser therapy
Application flexibility
SL 130 can be fitted with a VISULINK® 532/U* laser link for laser coagulations.
Choose between two different applanation tonometers* for precise intraocular
pressure measurements.
Digital documentation
Optional imaging solutions enable digital documentation of slit images, while the
DigiCam illuminator* ensures homogeneous illumination of the slit area. An additional
beam splitter allows easy connection of co-observation devices as well as camera
and video equipment.
Features at a glance
• Crisp, high-resolution images for the complete range of slit lamp applications
• Ideal handling for laser application and contact glass examinations due to
convenient single-hand operation from both sides of the slit projector
• Ergonomic design for comfortable body posture throughout the procedure
• Accurate and intuitive system operation for precise length, width and rotated slit
image adjustment
• Stereo microscope with 5 magnification steps, tiltable prism head* up to 20 degrees
for better peripheral observation of the posterior segment
• Optimized ease of use through quick action brake and triple slit for fast examinations
• Imaging solutions* for convenient documentation
• Choice of two applanation tonometers* for precise intraocular pressure
measurements
• ACCENTO ergo tube* for comfortable working posture with minimum neck strain
• Coagulation laser attachment via VISULINK 532/U*
