The Shuttle and Paratransit segments of the bus market have seen little change over the last two decades when it comes to air conditioning systems. The evaporator was generally located inside the bus at the back with a free-blow discharge while the condenser was located outside on the skirt of the bus near the pavement.

Thermo King’s new SLR series represents a dramatic shift from designs of the past, bringing innovative design concepts that improve safety, reduce installation time and make servicing easier.

The innovative design concepts have been packaged into one unit, making the SLR series a true “game changer” in a segment that has not seen much change for a very long time.
