SLR offers a complete suite of fishery surveys to investigate the nature of fish populations in a range of freshwater, estuarine and marine situations from source to sea. Our staff has over 50 years’ combined experience in delivering fish population surveys and provide taxonomic quality assurance to regulators and private companies and can assess angling, performance and sustainability of fisheries. Fish are a vital component of the aquatic environment, and their community structure demonstrates changes caused by natural events, environmental incidents or physical habitat improvements. SLR provides a range of fisheries services and advice. We have an unparalleled knowledge of fish population dynamics, fish taxonomy and Water Framework Directive (WFD) compliance.
