Desk:

I’m back with the second issue and as you can see it has a

totally different look and feel. I’ve been working hard to

put something together that is more visually appealing.

In this issue I take you along to two other role play areas

worth visiting. This time we travel to Bleach Reborn, a role

play sim based on the anime television series Bleach. Our

second visit is to New Wonderland, a role play sim based on

the Alice in Wonderland story.

Stay tuned for more issues of SLRP as I travel around the

different role play sims I think are worth a look.

Bleach Reborn is a role play sim based on the anime-

action television series Bleach. Bleach is about Ichigo

Kurosaki, a good-hearted 15 year old high-school student

who carries the undesired ability to see spirits. Others in his

family (two sisters and his father) carry this ability to some

extent as well. One evening, he encounters Rukia Kuchiki;

a Shinigami, or Death God. It is her job to usher lost spirits to

Soul Society, and to also eliminate those which cross over

from the Hollow World.

New Wonderland

Welcome to New Wonderland, a new role play sim based on

the Alice in Wonderland, though it takes place two generations

later. In this sim, the Queen of Hearts has been dethroned,

Alice was a figurehead that helped bring about the changes

and aided the Wonderlanders, the residents of this place, in a

greater understanding of their imaginations. She has since

returned to the world above, much by accident, and rumors

are she left a child in Wonderland, though no one knows for

sure.

In the words of sim owner Bellemy Ellisson: In the years since

Alice's disappearance Wonderland has grown and changed.

The world is brighter, more imaginative and seems to have

taken on a life of its own. The world thrives as its people do.

But now Wonderland has endured what no one thought was

possible. A successor to the Queen of Hearts has arrived with

her own card soldiers and taken back over her ancestral

palace. Suddenly the families of the other card suits have

come out of anonymity and are joining her court and the

refrain of "Off with her head!" is once again heard throughout

the land. Now Wonderlanders wonder how to respond. How

do they fight with no Alice to lead them?

Welcome to New Wonderland. The world is still topsy turvy and

it waits for you.

Upon arrival at the sim, I was greeted by Bellemy, her builder,

Surya Shan, and one of her administrators, Elle Zelin. Bellemy

gave me a background of what is to be a very interesting,

colorful, and imaginative role play sim. Whatever time I

spent in the sim is very little for all it has to offer and discover.

I was blown away by the contrast in colors, their brilliance,

and the sheer beauty of it all. I can best describe this sim as

simply a shock to your senses. The beauty, the colors, and

the imagination behind it are sure to entice you to visit and

return many more times.

The idea behind the sim came from several contributors. Elle

wanted a place that would be about dreams while Bellemy is

a huge Alice in Wonderland fan. With those ideas in mind,

Surya went to work to create something that is not only a

cross between both ideas, but much more than it as well.

Bellemy and Surya have plans for the future as well. She

announced, “my builder and I are going into custom sim and

even homestead design built to order. The man's a building

genius.” I could not agree more.
