JoinNEW Mexico’s first artisanal food hall Sawmill Market is Albuquerque’s premier urban market set in a stunning historic lumber warehouse located in the emerging Sawmill District. Sawmill Market brings a new dining experience to Albuquerque, certain to raise the bar and set a new standard in our local food scene. Currently Old Town, the Museums and Heritage Hotels attract 2.5 million visitors annually. The surrounding demographics within a 5 mile radius has a total population of 255,099 people, with an average annual income of $59k.

This building was once home to over 800 sawmill employees and a rich part of our city’s history. Between the late 1800s and early 1900s, this location was a bustling epicenter for industry along the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad, fi rst as agricultural land, then owned by the American Lumber Company, the largest lumber company in the Southwest.

Today, Sawmill Market will feature Albuquerque’s and New Mexico’s best culinary experiences, local farmers, local food artisans, craftsmen and artists which will enliven and ignite our community. A wide variety of food and cuisines exist in New Mexico, just as the people who live here. Jim Long

Long is the CEO and owner of Heritage Hotels & Resorts, Inc., a luxury hotel brand exclusive to New Mexico. He has founded numerous highly successful companies throughout his career including American Property and Southwest Brands. His latest addition to his successful ventures will be as the developer of the emerging Sawmill District.

Ashley Wilkins

Wilkins is the founder and creative director of Islyn Studio, a multi-disciplinary creative studio based in N.Y.C., specializing in experiential design for the hospitality and retail markets. Once a designer for Ace Hotel’s, she now directs the market’s interior design and brand identity.

Jason & Lauren Greene

The Greene’s are the successful owners and operator’s of Albuquerque’s popular Grove Cafe & Market. They are also the Sawmill Market’s concept developers, helping to identify and curate the artisanal food hall with creative culinary and retail experiences.

Steve Carlin

Carlin is the developer and talent behind the highly successful food markets at the Ferry Building located in downtown San Francisco and the Oxbow Public Market located in Napa, California.

Chris O’Donnell

O’Donnell is the brand director for the Sawmill District and brings his environmental design experience from Yahoo to help design and create new and unique branded experiences. Maintaining the ditrict’s brand identity, he oversees the revitalization of the historic area into an urban live, work, and play environment.

Cindy Campos

Campos comes from a competitive commercial real estate background, having brokered for high profi le companies while at Maestas & Ward Commercial Real Estate. As the leasing manager for the Sawmill District, she will ensure the Sawmill Market is curated with the best tenants.
