Message from 2013 Chair
Craig Fullen
The Fullen Law Group LLC
As we move into 2013, I realize that the past year may have meant different things to each of our mem-bers. Some may have achieved new milestones in their businesses while others faced difficult challenges, both professionally and personally.
When I’m faced with difficulties, I often remember the words of Rocky Balboa in his inspirational speech to his son in the most recent Rocky movie: “Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life, but it ain’t about how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done.” Re-
gardless of your current situation, just remember that each day provides the opportunity to take some action, no matter how small, to improve and move forward. And as you move forward, the Chamber will be there to support you, promote you, and encourage you.
The Chamber will move forward in 2013 as well, building on the momentum of the past year and continuing to execute on our strategic plan. We welcome your suggestions on every facet of our work to advance business success. Collectively, we are having a signifi-cant impact on our local economy and we believe there are extraordinary opportunities awaiting us.
The State Treasurer’s Office also saluted each award recipient at the Annual Meeting.
