What kill Microsoft?

Google Desktop is over (apps will live on the web.

Everything)

Broadband Internet (bigger the pipe to the server, the less you need the desktop)

Apple (geeks use OSX or Linux, not Windows)

“Microsoft's biggest weakness is that they still don't realize how much they suck. They still think they can write software in house. Maybe they can, by the standards of the desktop world. But that world ended a few years ago”. Paul Graham

What to do?

Build a web app that help Vietnamese people “understand" then "translate" English docs faster & easier!

Page 17: Small Team, Big Success

What make it great?

Analyze English document to show more correctly Vietnamese meanings of each English words.

(if possible) let computer do machine translation first, then help people refine the translation

Saving & versioning translating documents, people can save a draft, and comeback to finish it later

Multiple users can collaborate to translate a document

Users translated documents that help to improve machine translation quality

The more users contribute their documents, the better the service is
