Estimada Comunidad del JFK:

A continuación les recordamos la siguiente información enviada en nuestro comunicado del mes de Junio 2011:

Las oficinas administrativas estarán abiertas hasta el viernes 8 de julio y volverán a estar abiertas el lunes 1º de agosto.

Nuestro inicio de clases será el lunes 15 de agosto. No tendremos clases del 17 al 29 de octubre y en enero estaremos regresando de vacaciones de diciembre el lunes 2 de enero en lugar del lunes 9. De esta manera se repondrán las 2 semanas de clases del ciclo escolar 2011­2012.

Por último, queremos agradecer a Juanita Gura, por sus 10 años de servicio como recepcionista en el preescolar y a Leticia Miranda quien se retira después de más de 20 años siendo nuestra asistente de dirección en la primaria y también ha sido representante del colegio ante la Asociación de Padres de Familia y responsable de todos los trámites ante la SEP para becas.

Ellas han sido parte de nuestra familia Kennedy y como decimos aquí: “It is people like you that make Kennedy School special”.

Los diseños de Valeria resultaronganadores para imprimir las calcomaníasque servirán para apoyar la Campaña deReciclaje de este año.

Además de que Daniela obtuvo el reconocimiento porhaber realizado el mejor examen de nuestra zonaescolar, ella, junto con Andrés, recibió unreconocimiento por su sobresaliente participación enlas Olimpiadas matemáticas del presente ciclo escolar.

Durante el acto cívico del mes de mayo,las alumnas de cuarto grado informaronel estatus que guardaba la campaña dereciclaje de latas de aluminio hasta esafecha. ¡Los alumnos de 1er grado yaarrasaban con el número de latasrecolectadas!

Durante el mes de marzo el colegio recibió a un grangrupo de maestras estadounidenses que acompañarone impartieron clases en algunos grupos, tanto delpreescolar, como de la primaria. Esta es una excelentemanera de enriquecer el aprendizaje y compartirexperiencias con los alumnos.
