Policies and Procedures

Develop policies and procedures for equipment use:

• Sign out Smart Board room?

Possibly use a calendar for long range and sign out sheet for date of actual use?

• Use Yahoo free e-mail account to schedule room?

Equipment

• Log in screen-teacher or student depending on usage

• Look for the green light on the Smart Board

• Eraser and pens-lights on

• Shut down-computer first then projector

How a Smart Board works

• Think of two layers of screen-the first layer is the projected image, the next layer is the layer that allows you to write on, erase, etc.

• Orient the board by pressing the keyboard and mouse simultaneously. Use your finger to press the center of the target.
