GOGGLE VENTILATIONVarying levels of goggle ventilation are available within the Smith line. While all of our goggles

employ frame ventilation using a breathable foam membrane, we also utilize patented fog prevention technologies to enhance the circulation of air throughout the goggle and aid

thermal lens and anti-fog lens treatments in preventing fogging.

TURBO FAN VENTILATIONWe employ patented micro-electronic fans in the Turbo Fan Series to actively promote the circulation of air even when the user is stopped. Turn the fan on when you get to the hill and in the low setting, the Turbo Fan system will run continuously all day long to exhaust moisture from inside the goggle. The high setting can be used to quickly exhaust moisture in extreme conditions.

REGULATOR VENTILATIONPatented Regulator adjustable lens ventilation system in our Regulator Series provides added control of airflow through the goggle. Use the open position while stopped in line or on the lift to increase the circulation of dry, fresh air. Close it before descending to prevent tearing.

AIRFLOW VENTILATIONFeatured in our Airflow and select Junior Series models, our Airflow lens technology features vents in the brow of the lens that increase the circulation of fresh air to keep the inner lens dry and fog-free. AIREVAC: MAXIMUM AIRFLOW IS CRUCIALGoggles fog when standard helmets trap warm, moist air in the goggle chamber. Smith’s AirEvac ventilation systems generate maximum airflow that pulls warm, fog-causing air out of the goggle. The warm air is allowed to exhaust out of the top of the goggle and begin its path through the helmet’s AirEvac system.

AIREVAC 2: CONSTANT AIRFLOWAirEvac 2 continues to drive the warm air away from the goggle through external vents and internal channels in the EPS liner. Internal airflow can be adjusted through the helmet’s Regulator climate control system.

REAR EXHAUST VENTILATIONThe warm air that originally built up in the goggle has been forced out via the AirEvac ventilation system, has traveled through the AirEvac 2 EPS vent channels, and is now being exhausted at the furthest distance possible from the goggle.
