•  No one likes squished arms.

▸  So much fat.

•  But srsly, don’t put your arms to your side.

▸  Have arms around friends

▸  Use props (e.g. the drink in your hand)

▸  Anything BUT flat on your side

▸  But you know how now ALL girls do the whole hand-on-their-waist & it’s kinda

annoying?

▸  Do it subtly to not make so annoying.

HOW TO POSE: RULE 3 – YOUR HANDS ARE YOUR FRANDS

•  Look at your pictures. Do you like some more

than others?

▸  Probably because you’re facing one side versus

another.

•  Look in a mirror

▸  What side do you like better?

▸  That’s your good side.

▸  I will go through great lengths to get to my

good side.

▸  Rearrange pictures

▸  NOT be facing my frands

▸  It doesn’t matter, I LOOK GOOD.

HOW TO POSE: RULE 4 – FIND YOUR GO-TO SIDE

•  Lighting

▸  Natural is best (in the morning, an hour

before sunset). Noon / afternoon are the

worst (harsh shadows)

▸  Artificial lighting? Use your camera’s white

balance to change it or else you’ll be blue

or orange

▸  Dark lighting can be ROMANTIC & SEXY,

but make sure you have a steady hand or

use a tripod if not using flash. So much

blurry.

▸  Angles

▸  If you tilt your body slightly, you will look A

LOT thinner.

▸  Did you go on a diet? NO. You tilted your

body.

▸  Slightly angling your face will do the same

▸  Did your face go on a diet? NO. But maybe

it wouldn’t hurt.
