The SMOKEJET is equipped with an automatic
thermal release mechanism (thermal priority
valve as requested by the regulations
VdS 2159 and DIN 18232).
In the event of fire, when reaching the
release temperature SMOKEJET opens
independent from all other functions.

The fire risk has encreased enormous
by using more plastic material in
production halls which release, when
burning toxic gases in combination
with smoke and heat. Only venting
in the early stage of a fire will
prevent a catastrophe - allows

VENTILATION
Especially in the summer month the heat
load from plant heat and solar heat result
in ventilation problems and so cause
bad working conditions.
The universal louvre ventilator
provides lots of fresh air and creates
a good working climate.
SMOKEJET can also be integrated into
any wall construction as an additional
air inlet system. In case of a fire
SMOKEJET in walls can also be used
as natural inlet to make the smoke and
heat exhaust ventilation more effective.
At the same time the materials situated
close to the fire are cooled down by

ENERGY CONSERVATION
The energy factor plays an important role
particularly for industrial companies.
Especially during the winter leakage leads
to large heat losses, if ventilators are not tight.
This is why seal-brushes at the louvres
and at the unit frames keep the heat loss at a
minimum when the Smokejet is closed.
THE SOLUTION - FOR „COOL CALCULATORS“
Even in a closed position natural daylight
enters the building due to the transparent
louvre blades. This saves energy costs for
artificial lighting and has a positive
motivation effect on employees.

All SMOKEJETS comply with the requirements of
DIN18232 and VdS 2159.

The universal louvred ventilation and natural smoke and heat exhaustventilation system SMOKEJET for energy-free natural ventilation andsmoke and heat exhaust ventilation meets all demands of preventivefire precautions according to the DIN 18232 as well as VdSregulations 2159.
The construction is designed as a maintenance free, compact andlightweight louvred unit.
A multi-channel drainage system and the overlapping of the louvresguarantee a rain-proof system.
The ventilator side panels are reinforced by inner and outerlongitudinal profiles.
The units are made from corrosion resistant aluminium AlMg3. All another construction parts are corrosion-proof.
The louvres are controlled by a pneumatic cylinder with a specialpermanent lubricant.
In the event of fire the thermal release system releases automatically– independent from every other control mechanism via thermalpriority CO2 valve – or fusible link.
The louvres can be made from either aluminium, polycarbonate orglass in the different versions.
Due to its low weight, as well as its suitable dimensions and flangeversions, an easy installation into all customary roof and wallconstructions is possible.
