Assure your signature is verified on your CD28 by a Correctional Officer Minimum Facility Adults in custody place your legible CD 28's (#2874) in the Activities Box in your dorm). May Visiting Luncheons The May Family and Friends Luncheon will include the following: 2 sandwiches, chips, cookies, and raw veggies. Drinks will be provided. AIC do not need to purchase a meal, meals are purchased for visitors only. Please read carefully as there are changes. Main Facility Visiting Lunch is on Friday, May 17, 2019. Please send an approved CD28 for the total amount ($2.00 for each person in your visiting party that needs a sack lunch) with account #2877 on the communication form to M.Vokral at box #B339. Minimum Facility Visiting Lunch is on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Please send an approved CD28 for the total amount ($2.00 for each person in your visiting party that needs a sack lunch) with account #2874 on the communication form to A. Shell Minimum facility.

• The complete names of the visitors attending must be listed on an attached communication form to M. Vokral.

• Visitors must be on your current approved list.

• Please ensure all CD28’s are legible and include visitors that are planning on attending.

• Please do not sign up if you are on LOP, Incentive Level 1, or on Basic Visiting Status.

• Refunds will not be given to those inmates that are unable to attend due to their own actions or if visitors do not attend.

• Make sure your signature is verified on your CD28 by a Correctional Officer and received no later than May 1, 2019.

• The first 55 inmates that meet the above criteria will be able to attend this event. Inmates that have NOT attended prior luncheons, and meet the above criteria, will be offered a higher priority in attending this event.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive prior to 10:30 a.m. to attend luncheon to allow adequate time to be processed into the event. Although the Department of Corrections understands that circumstances occasionally arise that may hinder your families’ arrival. Please advise them if they are going to be delayed past the 10:30 a.m. time they should contact the Institution. This will assist the Officer in Charge to make other arrangements if necessary to make their visit enjoyable.

Juneteenth Celebration Talent Wanted On June 21, 2019 there will be a Juneteenth Celebration in the Complex 1 Gym. We are looking for AIC's that would like to be a part of the celebration. If you have a poem, a story, can play music, or do a presentation, we could use your help. If you would like to participate, please send an inmate commu-nication as soon as possible to Recreation Specialist Martarano in the Recreation box (B339). You must reside in Complex 1 and be Incentive level 2 or 3.

During the scheduled afternoon visiting session on the first and third Saturday of the month, Family Celebration cakes and cookies will be available for purchase. You must provide a minimum of (2) two week notice for the date of the visit. The cost to purchase a Birthday cake will be $5.00. You may request one (1) 9 inch round chocolate, yellow or carrot cake, with the option of pink or blue frosting. The cost to purchase cookies will be $4.00 a dozen. You may request a dozen of the following cookies available: chocolate chip, oatmeal or sugar cookies. List the specifications for the cake (flavor/frosting) / Type and amount of cookies on attached AIC communication to Mr. Vokral at box #339. General Population AIC: Please send an approved / verified and stamped CD28 for the total with account #2877 for processing. Minimum AIC: Please send an approved / verified and stamped CD28 for the total with account #2874 for processing. Number of guests will be limited to four. Additional guests may be requested and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. All guests are required to be on your approved Visitors List prior to request for participation. Please do not sign up if you are on basic visiting status. If a refund is requested you must provide documentation for a request within 30 days of the event.

There will be an events night, sponsored by AA/NA for Complex 2 with activities and music from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM . Try your skills at ping-pong or call someone out on the domino and spades tables while enjoying our mp3 music mix. There will be four Wii stations set up and ready to play with games like Soul Caliber, Madden NFL, NBA 2K, Super Mario Smash Brothers Brawl, Star Wars, Guitar Hero III and plenty more. In addition there will be games such as Scrabble, Pinochle, Chess, Football Throw, Corn hole and even checkers! Attending the event is free but you will have the option of buying a bag of caramel popcorn for $1.50 per bag. Soda will be $1.85 each. The limit for popcorn is 2 bags and the limit for sodas is 2 as well. If you would like buttered popcorn instead, you’ll need to specify it on your CD-28. Caramel is the default flavor.
