During the month of September & a good part of October you will receive VQ Bucks for every dollar you spend in the
shop on anything, including classes. Save your bucks, because on Thursday, October 29, 2015 we will be hosting a live Auction at The Robin’s Nest Restaurant where you can use your VQ Bucks to bid on some great quilt related items. We will conclude the evening with a Silent Auction
back at the shop where you can silently bid on smaller items! No cash—just use your VQ bucks that you have
accumulated during the month and a half leading up to the auction!

Women of the Bible Block of the Month
Our journey exploring women of the bible continues until
December 2015
Witches Ball 2015 Sat October 10th 6-11pm
This FREE outdoor event is a one of a kind opportunity for adults to
dress up and be whoever and whatever they want! Enjoy the festive atmosphere while all around you performances blend with the patrons as
the night progresses. A diverse collection of music, art and revels await
those who have the inclination and imagination to take part. Costumes
are encouraged. Be elaborate, be imaginative and be different!

If you’re a Beginner or just looking for an easy modern quilt design, this guided class is for you! Over 4 weeks, you will learn how
to cut, piece, assemble and quilt. Choose from one of our pre-cut kits, layer cakes or fat quarters, and pick your sashing fabric, and
you will be all set for class! Pattern included with class fee.
Quilting Essentials
Machine Quilting Sue Morrison ● 1 Session SMR
Skill Level: Beginner

This basic skills class teaches you how to finish your quilts using your home sewing machine. (Be aware that not all machines were
designed to machine quilt, but each machine is worth a try!) You will learn how to start and stop your quilting threads and do basic
even-feed (including stitch-in-the-ditch) and free motion quilting. We’ll discuss different quilting threads and needles and how to
adjust your machine’s tension.
Paper Piecing for Beginners Kim ● 1 session SMR
Skill Level: Beginner

A basic beginner’s class for learning the art of paper piecing. Our project will be a block
that you can repeat & make into a beautiful wall hanging.

The Art Quilt Club is a monthly club for quilters/sewers/artists interested in exploring a new style.
Jo’s Little Women Club There are currently 3 different sessions for this club
2nd Tuesdays 11-1pm, 2nd Thursdays 6-8pm or 4th Tuesday 6-8pm
Class Fee: $30 for 6 sessions Wait List Only
A club based on Jo Morton’s exclusive little club quilts and her wonderful repro
fabrics.
Strip Club Revealed Meets the 4th Saturday of the Month at 9:30am
Dates: Sat 9/26 & 10/24 Free Event!
Strip Club offers an innovative quilt designs using 2 1/2” strips. A few weeks before a Strip Club meeting we will showcase a new “in house” jelly roll that will be the featured in the upcoming strip quilt. Pre--pay for the jelly roll prior to the Strip Club meeting you save 25% off the cost of the Jelly Roll. Strip Club Meeting is where the Strip Club Quilt will be reveal! Tips & instruction will be part of the meeting. Any additional fabrics, no-tions needed for completing the quilt will be available for purchase at a 20% discount during the club meeting time only
Tea & Applique Club
Tuesday 9/1, 10/6, 11/3 & 12/1• 11-1pm Class Fee $5
This club meets the first Tuesday of each month from 11-1 to work on appliqué techniques & projects. Appliqué club open to anyone interested in sharing ideas and refining appliqué skills. We love to share with beginners. Join the fun and the fellowship! Tea & snacks
