Placement and training organized and conducted soft skill training ,Aptitude, Pre Placement
training 06.05.2019 to 10.05.2019 for the batch 2016-2020.The external experts gave the training
on Resume writing , Personality Development and writing communication, aptitude and
explained the meaning of different body postures and the trick of evaluating a person based on
his actions for the students .The students gained knowledge and had good practice for the
placement.

COMMUNICATION LAB
Communication is an art of learning a language. Communication skills is all
about knowledge gained and expressed through professional a way. The objective of this The
English communication language Lab helps students towards facing professional society to brand
and create and become a part of the corporate culture in the society. The Lab creates a platform
for students to be confident and skilled towards getting into a job after the completion of their Ug
programme. Many students of different society face difficulty in communication, The lab
provides them a space and an opportunity to build their language skills and participate towards
enriching their language skills to build their career. The language lab follows two main parts. 1.
Communication for Career development 2. Business communication. The language lab is
facilitated with computer aided learning system where the student and individually use the
software to learn language and their by acquiring knowledge. The lab also trains students towards
soft skills, interview skills, Resume writing, Business English and interpersonal skills. The
English communication language Lab is a well facilitated lab that enriches students towards
building their skills towards corporate sectors.

“REPORT ON AADHAAR CARD CORRECTION CAMP”
DATE : 17.09.2019 to 20.09.2019 VENUE : Ist YEAR BLOCK
SUB: Report on Aadhaar card correction cam – Reg.
Jeppiaar Institute of Technology NSS unit has provided a platform for Aadhaar card
correction for students, faculties and non-teaching staffs. The camp was held at first year block
on 17.09.2019 to 20.09.2019 by the staffs of Kancheepuram Head post office, Kancheepuram.
NSS volunteers volunteered sincerely on all those days. The camp started by 10 am ends by 5.45
pm on each day. Changes made includes, corrections on name, address, phone number, date of
birth and photo. Many of them who was struggling to change their address was done easier and it
was helpful to all the students to link their phone number and e-mail address. Many of them
visited the camp for correction has benefited through this. Through this camp totally 212 students
and faculties got benefited and every body thanked our management for support and providing
this wonderful opportunity.

NATIONAL CADET CORPS
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY’ – JUNE 2019
Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, the International Yoga Day was celebrated in the
college premises on 21-06-2019 (Friday) between 7.00 am and 8.00 am. During this event 200+
students were participated in the Yoga Day celebration and performed various Asans including
Meditations Lead by Lt. M.KARTHIKRAJ, Associate NCC Officer.

MEGA POLLUTION AWARENESS PAKHWAD – 2019
Jeppiaar Institute of Technology , 1(TN) CTC NCC, Chennai organized the “Pollution
Awareness Rally” to commemorate “MEGA POLLUTION AWARENESS PAKHWAD – 2019
“ on 10-07-2019 (Wednesday). The rally started from College premises to Sunguvarchatram
Bazaar via Kunnam Village with Thirty One Senior Division Cadets and accompanied by
Lt.M.Karthikraj, Associate NCC Officer. As part of this rally cadets distributed the pamphlets
to the public, displayed the sign boards mentioning the quotes regarding the pollution awareness.
Cadet also interacted with the public to create awareness by saying the quotes and steps need to
be taken by an individual and society followed by the cadets along with ANO taken the oath for
pollution awareness.

73rd independence day –Aug 2019
#INDIA acquired her Independence 72 years ago and this year we are happy, proud
and privileged to celebrate the 73rd Independence Day in college campus with faculties and
students.NCC cadets played a vital role in conducting the ceremonial parade to honour our
National Flag.The parade was lead by parade commander CUO.M.Ashwin. In this occasion
distributed the medals to the “Best Cadets of the Year 2018-19.”As part of 73rd independence
day celebration our college conducted the Public Speaking, Essay and Drawing Competitions
for the students, the winners of the events were

Blood Donation Camp – Sep 2019
Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, 1(TN) CTC NCC, Chennai organized the “BLOOD
DONATION CAMP” on 13-09-2019 in association with the blood bank, Indian Red Cross
Society, Tamilnadu branch, Egmore.The camp started at 9 am at College premises with Fifty
Senior Division Cadets as the volunteers and accompanied by Lt.M.Karthikraj, Associate NCC
Officer. As part of this Blood donation Camp cadets, civil peoples, college students, teaching
staff and non-teaching staff, came forward to donate their blood. Over 90 people donated their
blood as part of this event.
