SENSE-ATIONS See, hear, smell and feel your way about the Zoo for a sensory fun night.

PREDATOR PROWL Learn about predator/prey relationships and the effectiveness of various survival strategies.

ABOUTSnoozes are led by experienced and enthusiastic instructors and start with a pizza dinner. Participate in fun and educational activities including animal encounters, hikes, games and more! Wake up to the lions roaring, a delicious breakfast and a morning hike, then join the Keeper Staff in an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience.

n Participants must be six years and older, with at least one adult for every seven children.

n Snoozes are in alignment with Virginia SOL and NGSS standards.

n Groups of all types and sizes are welcome, including scouts, school groups, community groups, sororities and fraternities and birthday parties.

PRICINGThe cost is $50 per person, with a minimum of 10 (ten) guests. To reserve your Snooze date, a $500 deposit is required.

All Snoozes include the following:

n individual water bottles for each guest

n pizza dinner

n an after-dinner snack

n water and lemonade

n a continental breakfast

n Jacket, gloves and rain gear for our night hike

n Flashlights and camping mats optional. The Zoo cannot accommodate air mattresses.

A Deposit of $500 is due upon registering for the programing. A single Snooze may accommodate approximately 50 participants. For more than 50 participants, two (2) rooms will be booked, and the deposit will be $1,000. If you have reserved one (1) room, but want to increase the number of participants over the maximum of 50, please call the Education Department at least ten (10) business days prior to the Snooze to make sure there is space available. Snooze Policies and Cancellation Policy: A deposit of $500 is required in order to reserve your Snooze date. At this time, an estimated number of participants is required. Should you decide to cancel, you must do so more than three (3) weeks before your Snooze in order to receive 80% of your deposit. Refunds cannot be given for Snoozes cancelled less than three (3) weeks prior to the Snooze.

The final head count and remaining balance are due ten (10) calendar days prior to the Snooze. Refunds cannot be give after this date. For payments not received ten (10) calendar days prior to the Snooze, a 15% late fee will be added to the total cost of the Snooze. To reschedule, call the Education Department no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the scheduled Snooze. Any cancellations within ten (10) calendar days of the scheduled program require payment in full.
