How To do it
How to TurnToe side turn - Lower your knees towards the snow - Shift balance of weight over the toe side edge of the board - Stick belly out - Move front hand over the toe edge of the board to “close” your stance - Pull up on your front heel for tighter turn
Heel side turn - Sit back slightly - Shift balance of weight over the heel side edge of the board - Look over front shoulder - Move front hand over the heel edge of the board to “open” your stance - Pull up on your front toes for tighter turn
My Plan, Is to learn how to Turn and Stop and also learn other basic skills, and I'm planning to - start off with an instructor or get Mr Wyers or Mr Mann to help
me with learning how to stop and turn- then go off on my own and try and do it by myself staying on small
hill- then keep practising till I’m confident enough in myself - to go to the top of the summit hill and try and get to the bottom
without stacking.
