• The goalkeeper is the only person on the field allowed to touch the ball with his hand.• Both feet must be on the ground for a throw in.• For free kicks defender(s) must make a wall.• To score you must kick the ball into the goal. All of the ball must cross the goal line. • There is another way to score, if the ball rebounds of the defender or the goalkeeper it is an

own goal.

Equipment for SoccerYou need:•a ball•some uniforms•a pitch that is 90-120 m in length and is 45-90m in width.

• Here are some famous competitions – Champions League, UEFA Cup, World Cup, FA Cup, Copa America, CONCACAF Gold Cup, Asian Cup and the Oceania Cup.

• You can get the golden boot trophy if you score lots of goals.

• The CONCACAF Gold Cup and the Copa America are both held in America.

• The Asian Cup is held all around Asia.• The World Cup is played by countries around the

world.• The Champions League is played by the best teams in
