DAY 1 Saturday, 04 April 2020Relax and enjoy our scheduled flight from Raleigh to Munich, Germany

DAY 2 Sunday, 05 April 2020Our 24-hour Tour Director will meet us at the airport and remain with us until our final airportdeparture.Our private coach and driver will transfer us to our Munich area hotel. We will have use of ourcoach for all transfers, touring and soccer content as required throughout.Munich is the capital city of Bavaria. It was founded in the 12th century, and named for asettlement of Benedictine monks. Munich is now a cosmopolitan city that is at the forefront ofthe financial and publishing industries, and notable for its role in the development of music andthe arts.Our Munich area hotel will be our home for the next four nights. We will have breakfast anddinner (or lunch) at the hotel daily.WELCOME MEETINGWe begin with a welcome meeting and orientation. Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore thearea around the hotel.TRAINING SESSIONWe will participate in a Training Session at a local field. The training session will be led byyour own coaching staff and is designed to prepare the team for upcoming friendly matches.(Training sessions may be in the morning, afternoon or evening and will be determined by thefinal hotel location, field availability, and the schedule of activities for the day.)This evening we will enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 3 Monday, 06 April 2020This morning you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel.Today we will explore Munich and play our first friendly match.MUNICH WALKING TOUREnjoy a Walking Tour of the Altstadt (Old Town) of Munich, beginning at the Karlstor, once agate to the walled city. We will then view the Altes Rathaus and Peterskirche before strollingdown Neuhauser Street, Munich’s largest shopping street, lined with typical 19th centurybuildings.ALIIANZ ARENAVisit the Aliianz Arena where the famous Bayern Munich play. We will enjoy a tour of thestadium and see the changing rooms, players’ tunnel, sponsor lounge, and press club(Subject to match schedule).

DAY 3 Monday, 06 April 2020ATTEND A PROFESSIONAL MATCHWe will attend a professional soccer match featuring teams from the top leagues. Seeing thetop talent in the world in person would itself be an unforgettable experience, but add thepassionate crowds signing, cheering and chanting and you will enter an atmosphere that canonly be understood through personal experience. (Excel Programs will secure tickets for thegroup after time of booking and upon release of the official schedule. Due to scheduling yourfinal itinerary may need to adjusted to accommodate attending a match.)This evening we will enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 4 Tuesday, 07 April 2020This morning you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel.Today we will spend the day in Salzburg.With its elegant squares and quaint streets Salzburg the famous Baroque city is a delightfulintroduction to the sophisticated world of arguably the greatest classical genius W.A. Mozart.SALZBURG WALKING TOURTake a Walking Tour through the Old Quarter, which highlights the city's main attractions.Highlights of our walk will include: Hauptplatz, the original marketplace, which is now one ofEurope's biggest and most beautiful squares, with baroque and rococo facades surroundingit; the Rathaus (Town Hall); the Trinity Column (Dreifaltigkeitssaule) built in 1723 to mark thecity's deliverance from plague, fire, and Turkish invasions; and the Brucknerhaus, a beautifulconcert hall, named in honor of Anton Bruckner, the Linz-born composer, which has anelliptical facade of glass and steel with a wooden interior.FREE TIMESpend free time on Salzburg's most famous street, the Getreidegaße, which is lined withsmall shops, interesting houses and wrought-iron signs.HOHENSALZBURG FORTRESSTake the Funicular up to the Hohensalzburg Fortress, the former stronghold of the rulingprince-archbishops. King Ludwig II himself only lived here for 172 days, but the highlight of the castletour is the Throne Room, designed in Byzantine style, with gilded mural paintings, mosaics,and a huge chandelier.FREE TIMEYou will have some free time to explore the area.FIRST FRIENDLY MATCHWe will play a Friendly Match against a local club or academy team. DAY 6 Thursday, 09 April 2020This morning you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel.Today we will travel from Munich to Lucerne.Lucerne is the most populous city in Central Switzerland, and a focal point of the region. Dueto its location on the shore of Lake Lucerne, within sight of Mount Pilatus and Rigi in theSwiss Alps, Lucerne is traditionally considered first and foremost as a tourist destination.One of the city's famous landmarks is Chapel Bridge with a wooden bridge first built in the14th century. It has also been voted as the 5th most popular tourism destination in the world.For the next three night(s), our base will be in Lucerne (area). Breakfast will be included atthe hotel.LUCERNE WALKING TOUREnjoy a Walking Tour of Lucerne. We will begin by viewing the Lion Monument which wascreated in 1820 in honor of the Swiss Guards who lost their lives in 1792 during the FrenchRevolution. Next we will view the impressive Jesuitenkirche which was the first large baroquechurch built in Switzerland. The baroque style architecture is quite ostentatious but issupposed to represent the power and glory of the Catholic tradition. Lastly, we will bask inthe beauty found in the historical heart of Lucerne as we stroll through the picturesquemedieval Weinmarkt square and the Kornmarkt square which contains the Town Hall andbeautifully painted Pfistern guildhall.This evening we will enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant.
