Wersquore carbon neutral and committed to net-zero We have been reporting our global carbon footprint since 2008 and were the first company in our class to be independently certified to ISO 14064 the international standard for carbon reporting From 2013-18 we reduced carbon emissions by 45 per employee Wersquore on track to reduce our total global Group emissions by 25 by 2024 measured from a 2018 baseline

In 2020 we became carbon neutral by offsetting our residual carbon emissions Wersquove done this by investing in the restoration of peatland in Sumatra Indonesia Peat is composed of plants that absorb CO2 from the atmosphere regenerating peat locks that carbon into the soil

Wersquove checked that the scheme will sequester carbon effectively and we will offset our emissions annually Our 2020 offset has been independently audited by the Carbon Trust who certified us to PAS 2060 the international standard for carbon neutrality

Longer-term we donrsquot want to rely on external third parties By 2040 wersquore committed to counterbalancing our residual carbon emissions directly using sequestration solutions we initiate and own For us thatrsquos what achieving net-zero means Our journey is aligned with and approved by the Science Based Targets initiative

In 2020 we were reaccredited to PAS 2080 the international standard for managing carbon in infrastructure ndash we were the first to be independently accredited globally in 2018 PAS 2080 provides a methodology for cutting emissions during infrastructure delivery and operation We co-authored the standard

Carbon sequestration and more We are project managing the restoration of 23000ha of peat swamp in Sumatra Merang Indonesia Wersquore also investing in the project as new peat forms it locks away carbon offsetting our emissions Swamp restoration is providing more habitat for Sumatran tigers and other endangered species it also reduces the likelihood and severity of both wild fires and flooding

Wersquore carbon neutral and committed to net-zero We have been reporting our global carbon footprint since 2008 and were the first company in our class to be independently certified to ISO 14064 the international standard for carbon reporting From 2013-18 we reduced carbon emissions by 45 per employee Wersquore on track to reduce our total global Group emissions by 25 by 2024 measured from a 2018 baseline

In 2020 we became carbon neutral by offsetting our residual carbon emissions Wersquove done this by investing in the restoration of peatland in Sumatra Indonesia Peat is composed of plants that absorb CO2 from the atmosphere regenerating peat locks that carbon into the soil

Wersquove checked that the scheme will sequester carbon effectively and we will offset our emissions annually Our 2020 offset has been independently audited by the Carbon Trust who certified us to PAS 2060 the international standard for carbon neutrality

Wersquore carbon neutral and committed to net-zero We have been reporting our global carbon footprint since 2008 and were the first company in our class to be independently certified to ISO 14064 the international standard for carbon reporting From 2013-18 we reduced carbon emissions by 45 per employee Wersquore on track to reduce our total global Group emissions by 25 by 2024 measured from a 2018 baseline

In 2020 we became carbon neutral by offsetting our residual carbon emissions Wersquove done this by investing in the restoration of peatland in Sumatra Indonesia Peat is composed of plants that absorb CO2 from the atmosphere regenerating peat locks that carbon into the soil

Wersquove checked that the scheme will sequester carbon effectively and we will offset our emissions annually Our 2020 offset has been independently audited by the Carbon Trust who certified us to PAS 2060 the international standard for carbon neutrality

Wersquore carbon neutral and committed to net-zero We have been reporting our global carbon footprint since 2008 and were the first company in our class to be independently certified to ISO 14064 the international standard for carbon reporting From 2013-18 we reduced carbon emissions by 45 per employee Wersquore on track to reduce our total global Group emissions by 25 by 2024 measured from a 2018 baseline

In 2020 we became carbon neutral by offsetting our residual carbon emissions Wersquove done this by investing in the restoration of peatland in Sumatra Indonesia Peat is composed of plants that absorb CO2 from the atmosphere regenerating peat locks that carbon into the soil

Wersquove checked that the scheme will sequester carbon effectively and we will offset our emissions annually Our 2020 offset has been independently audited by the Carbon Trust who certified us to PAS 2060 the international standard for carbon neutrality
