Social Knowledge Exchange Platform (SKEP)

A platform + community + content source for the NGOs/charities to seek help from tech-savvy volunteers.

Stage 1

Interactive Webapp: Q&A platform.

Very simple, just like Quora for NGOs.

Static Content: Tips/Recommend tools for NGOs.

Stage 2

NGOs can send "help request", for on-site help.

i.e. "Our printer doesn't work! Our office is at Lok Fu."

Or possibly support remote help.

Stage 3

Configuration manager...Password manager...Service expiry date reminder…Issue tracking system...

etc…

We forgot the lean startup philosophy.

If our objective is to build a webapp, we can say that a prototype webapp is the MVP.

But our objective is to help NGOs, is it possible to test the idea and get feedback ASAP?

Our email survey got 4 replies (and lots of bounce-back).

We have no “problem experts” or “stakeholders” in our team to do research and chat with potential users.
