Role and Responsibilities
The Social Innovation Manager shall lead the CSR function of the company by developing and implementing activities and projects related to this function while ensuring that they are in line with the ambitions of the company and more broadly with company’s global agenda.
1. Main Duties and Functions
The Social Innovation Manager shall ensure the implementation of the ongoing CSR program of the company and initiate new projects by:
Conceptualizing projects and preparing project cases Defining objectives, targets and indicators Validating projects with company’s executives Screening , selecting & engaging non-profit organizations, KOLs and various other stakeholders Preparing contracts with support of legal department Establishing and reviewing budgets of projects with support of finance department Presenting projects to Social Innovation Committee for validation Requesting funding for implementation Ensuring the day-to-day project implementation and governance (scheduling & arranging operational and
steering committee meetings) Informing regional development manager of challenges faced Organizing projects assessment, social impact measurement and facilitating the audit process Preparing follow up reports Connecting with HR & Internal communication to engage employees Sharing project learnings and best practices Contributing to the induction program for new projects globally

3. Background Information
Internal: Executive Committee, Milk Sourcing Team, Medical and Nutrition Team, HR Team, Fund Coordinators, CSR Project Manager in other countries…
External: NGOs, Universities, Research institutes, KOLs
4. Decision Making Authority and Controls
The Social Innovation Manager is authorized to implement all necessary actions to ensure the achievement of the objectives of the CSR projects.
Job Specifications
Education Background :
Scientific background preferably with a specialization in Socio-Economic Development / Social Sciences / Rural Development
Knowledge on dairy farming, sustainable agriculture and nutrition is an asset
Skills Needed (Technical) :
Good analytical thinking and presentation skills Fluent in English and Hindi, both oral and written Ability to work under pressure and meet tight datelines Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Experience Needed (Professional) :
3 - 5 years working experience in MNCs or Non-Profit Organization on complex project management with field experience
Demonstrated leadership experience
Core Functional Competencies to be successful on the job
Ability to work across multiple disciplines Proactive attitude and ability to work independently Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Good understanding of rural / social development issues
Leadership Competencies
Ability to lead and drive projects Ability to make rapid decisions and redirect activities if necessary Strong team leadership capabilities
