BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

The need of having ability to communicate in English for the students.

The lack of chances to build communication in EFL classroom.

The importance of social interaction in teaching learning process.

To investigate the social interaction in three different classes in three different high schools in Bandung .

1. Clear time division: 10 continual weeks observation.

2. Split the class: 3 different classes of 3 different schools based on high schools passing grades.

3. Classes were selected blind-foldedly.

4. On going activities: Field notes, questionnaire and interview.

RESULT AND DISCUSSION

Data for discussion are taken from the field notes of observations, questionnaire and interview conducted to the students.

CONCLUSIONA healthy social interaction is really

needed for EFL students during teaching learning process.

The application of social interaction is not satisfying enough.

CBC is one of the best curriculum to create lively, active and comfortable interaction.
