Beats by Dre - an iconic technology brand that brought us the most desired headphones and

music electronics today.

Beats controls some 70% of the headphones market, thanks to lightning-fast marketing and a smart grasp of pop culture.

This project presents ideas for social media activations on Twitter

and Vine for Beats by Dre targeting the Millennial population segment.

This idea is all about self-expression through art, music and design. It will create sharable moments by utilizing the power of live activation and two influencers.

Team up with Kehinde Wiley - a New York-based portrait

painter, who is known for his highly naturalistic paintings of

urban youth in heroic poses.

Beats by Dre will commission a painting of a person wearing

Beats headphones. The painting will be finished up in a

prominent outdoor location in NYC where people could be a

part of the creative process.

The session will end in a pop-up surprise performance from

Pharrell Williams

The event will be amplified on Twitter (paid and organic

media), pre and post event via Wiley’s and Pharrell’s accounts

and through @beatsbydre

Giant Beats headphones will be located in the 5 major city squares (where there is no traffic allowed).

People will be able to plug into the giant Beats and listen to

music. Different plugs will play different types of music

The activation will provide an opportunity for people to take

photos and post them with a hashtag #MegaBeats

The campaign will be promoted on Twitter, but UGC will be

encouraged on IG and FB

Twitter takeover with major fitness gurus will remind people that Beats should also be a part of your active lifestyle.

Team up with 15-20 different fitness influencers on Twitter

(with a number of followers from 5K-100K)

Influencers may include: @TaraStiles, @TrinkFitness,

@JohnRomaniello, @SteveKamb, @tomvenuto,

@HannahBronfman, @TracyAnderson

Ask influencers to Tweet out an image of them with Beats

headphones shot on a beats back drop at the same time

Beats has a wide product range from more affordable headphones and speakers to luxury equipment. This vine will attempt to bring the experience of luxury golden top notch performance headphones to Vine

We will create a vine story that will evoke the rich sound

experience these luxury headphones

For the visual treatment we will do luxurious, dark close up

shots of the headphones showcasing the craftsmanship and

quality

The soundtrack music will be Big Sean - Blessings ft. Drake,

Kanye West

The post has a clear call-to-action to see more of the

#GoldenDreams campaign on our brand website

We will promote this idea across other Beats social media

properties (TW, FB, IG)
