In 2009, smartphone ownership increased from 11 % to 17 % of mobile users. 3G phone ownership increased from 32% to 43%. Unlimited data plan subscriptions rose from 16% to 21%.

Most social media accounts are free.  Premium accounts on sites like Flickr and YouTube provide analytical tools and more space for uploading.

Costs are in time. Time to learn (don't let this scare you, the applications are easy). Time to interact (don't let this scare you, the applications help become more agile). Costs in mobile computing (if you are not already using)
