DIRECT ENTRY: (i) AAU accepts: (a) BSc, BA or HND in other discipline (b) ND (Upper Credit) in Accounting. (c) Foundation of ICAN (iii) ILORIN requires 'A' level passes in Accounting and at least

one of Mathematics, Business Management, Economics, Statistics, Geography and Government plus UTME requirements.

(vi) BINGHAM, AJAYI and AAU requires A' level pass in Accounts. Accepts National Diploma in Accounting, Banking and Finance or Business Management from a recognised institution.

(vii) ILORIN Accepts National Diploma in Accounting/Finance plus UTME.

(viii) CUAB (a) requires two ‘A’ Level passes to include Mathematics and

either Economics or Account. (b) IJMB at acceptable grades. (c) NCE, ND, and approved equivalent of with at least lower

credit may be admitted to the appropriate level. (x) JOS accepts: (a) Two Principal and one subsidiary passes in any of the

following subject: Principles of Accounts, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Government and Commerce. In addition to the IJMB/A/L candidates should have credit in three 'O' level subjects as per ' O' level requirement other than the ones obtained at IJMB/A/L.

d. In addition to the 'O' level requirement as per A above, candidates must pass any of the following professional courses. I.C.A.N, CI.B., A.C.I.S., A.C.C.A., N.I.M. and C.M.A. Institute of Certified Public Accounting of Nigeria.

(xi) For Business Administration, AJAYI accepts A' Level or equivalents in Economics and one of Business Management, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography and Government plus 'O' level credit passes in English Language and Mathematics

(xii) LASU accepts: a. ND/HND not admissible for Direct Entry. b. For Public Administration it requires Two 'A' level passes

chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management,

(xvi) UNN accepts for three year programme (Direct Entry) candidates to possess any of the following qualifications:

(a) Two GCE (A/L) passes or its equivalent in any of the following subjects: Government, History, Economics, Business Management, Accounting and Geography plus UTME requirements.

(b) ND from recognized institutions in Law, Secretarial studies or its equivalent at merit level plus UTME requirements.

(c) Higher National Diploma of recognized institutions with a minimum of merit/lower credit level passes plus UTME requirement.

(xvii) BIU requires in addition to the O' level requirements specified, a minimum of two relevant subjects passed at GCE Advanced level or NCE (3 merits) or National Diploma in relevant field not below credit level.

(xviii) BOWEN accepts two ‘A’ level passes which must include Economics, IJMB/NCE/ND or approved equivalent in relevant subject(s).

(xix) UNIOSUN accepts (a) For Accounting 'A' Level passes in Economics and any one of the following

equivalent examination, at least two of which shall be at the Advance level or credit passes at least three of which shall be at the Advance Level provided that subjects are not counted at both levels of the examination. Credit passes at the Ordinary Level must include English and Mathematics.

C. ND in relevant discipline with at least upper credit grade in addition to five credits passes.

D. HND in relevant discipline with at least lower credit in addition to five credit passes.

F. Final Certificate of relevant Professional Bodies in addition to five credit passes.

(vi) ABU accepts two ‘A’ Level/IJMB passes in Management/Social Science Subjects one of which must be Economics.
