Isabella Bartlett Is Graduate At Connecticut
Miss I&abelle Bartlett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer L. Bartlett of West Merrick road, Freeport, was graduated from tre Cbnnecticut Women's college, receiving her B. S. degree. During her years at college Miss Bartlett has been prominent in various activities, being president of the senior class.
Miss Bartlett has been appointed physical training instructor at Mrs. Day's school in New Haven, Conn., and will assume her position in the fall.

CENTRE- SERVICE CLUB HAS FINAL MEETING
Cassiopeia Service club of Rockville Centre held the last meeting of the season yesterday, at the Masonic temple, Rockville Centre. Plans were made for a picnic to be held at the home of Mrs. William Kesel, Sooth-old, in July.
Refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. Harold Brlndley, Mrs. William Grete, Mrs. Grace IJealy, and Mrs. Royal Richensteen.
The first fall meeting will be held September 19.

Olive Weseman Is Bride Of James Siene At Baldwin
St. Christopher's church in Baldwin was the scene of a pretty wedding Sunday afternoon when Miss Olive Weseman, daughter of. Mrs. Bessie Weseman of Walnut street, Baldwin, became the bride of James Siene, son of Mrs. James Clark of Philadelphia and Freeport. The ceremony ( was performed at 4:30 o'clock with Reverend Lawrence Kalsch officiating.
The bride wore a gown of white net with white picture, hat and carried a bouquet of bridal roses.

Mrs. Lee A. Holley and Mrs. William A. Rochester of Merrick were luncheon and bridge hostesses to members of their bridge club. Plans ware njede tor a dance to be held at the Oeaaossdo Country club July 33 at the ousting of the auxiliary to Oceanside Legion post Thursday night at the dugout. Mrs. Richard Wellington presided and Mrs. Maria Bailey and Miss Virginia Al-drich were hostess. Miss Aldrlch read the Pldae report. It v*is agreed to cancel the strawberry festival previously announced in favor of a dance. Mrs. Richard Wellington was appointed as delegate to the convention to be held in Brooklyn, and Mrs. Adels Duffy was named alternate.
Mrs. Adels Duffy and Mrs. Obeli Lilkstrale era co-chairmen for the dance, assisted by a committee which includes: Mrs. Richard Wellington, Mrs. Carrie Brockett, Mrs. Frank Zilch, Mrs. Marie Bailey, Mrs. Teresas Smith, Mrs. Harold Fowler and Miss Virginia Aldrlch. A special meeting of the committee wilk be called in the near future to make final arrangements.

At a meeting of Sincerity Rebekah lodge. Rockville Centre, Friday night, at Odd Fellows halL two gavels, hand made and hand-hewn by1 Leonard Bingstrom, a member, were presented to the lodge by Dr. D. N. Bulaon. Guests of honor at the meeting were Emma R. Serviss, guardian of the state assembly, and Anna WlOart, district deputy president. Each received a bouquet as a gift from the organization.

The final card party of the season of Court Ave Maria of Roosevelt, Catholic Daughters of America, will be held at the Hart's avenue parish hall, Thursday night, at 8:30 o'clock. Birthday Party For Son Given By Mr. And Mrs. Sehobel
Mr. and Mrs. H. Sehobel of South Maple street, Hempstead Gardens, entertained a number of young folks Thursday afternoon in honor of the 10th birthday of their son Henry. Games and music were followed by refreshments served by Mrs. H. Sehobel, Mrs. Carl Salt-house and Mrs. O. Frobel. Present were Helen Frobel, Richmond Prehn, Marie Frobel, Violet Prechtel, Roddy Morgenweck, Agnes Sehobel, Belle Floating, Florence Prechtel, Buddy Prechtel, Alice Sehobel, John Prechtel, Virginia Stanley, John Sehobel, Rita Leopard, Elise Floating and Henry Sehobel.

Tuttle, Mrs. Edward Clark and Mrs. Clyde Monett, ell of Richmond Hill; Mrs. Benjamin. Fayre and Mrs. Herman Lotze of Hollis and Mrs. Charles Monett of Baldwin.
Awards for high scores were received by Mrc. Young and Mrs. Fayre.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Monett of Stanton avenue, Baldwin, entertained at dinner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs; Harry Daab and daughter Norma and Mr. Monett/s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Monett of Richmond Hill.

Sfx of the seven teachers' who made up the faculty of the Roosevelt school 33 years ago, held' a reunion at the home of Mrs. Madge Bolster Stevenson, Hollis, Saturday. The guest of honor was Mrs. Francis Stelnbarge Smith, teacher in the Valley Stream public schools, who is retiring.
Others present were: Mrs. Katharine De Lap, the Misses Loretta and Jane Fitzgerald of New York city and Mrs. H. W. Seabury of Roosevelt. Luncheon was served and old times reviewed. Mrs. Smith received a gift of linen.

Lynbrook will hold a garden .card party at the home of Mrs. Lottie Chester, 31 BUrtis street, Lynbrook, June 39, at 3 p. m. Mrs. Alex Alexander will assist the hostess.
PLEADS NOT GUILTY Charles Murray of Great Neck
pleaded not guilty when arraigned before Judge Cortland A. Johnson in Nassau county court yesterday on a charge of third degree burglarly. He was arrested on the complaint of Peter N. Leone of Great Neck. Leone charged that Murray entered his house and stole a" gas stove. Murray .was allowed his liberty in nominal bail for trial later.
The Roosevelt Jewish center will hold a strawberry festival at 94 Woods avenue, Roosevelt, tonight. The affair will be in charge of Mrs, Louis Le-vine, chairman ;^Mrs. Joseph Morris, Mrs. Morris Sigman and Mrs. H. B. Winer. All members of the center are requested to bring packages containing gifts, which will be sold for tho benefit of the center.

ST. MARK'S GUILD PLANS FESTIVAL AND PARTY
The Woman's Episcopal church, North Bellmore, will hold a card party and strawberry festival at the parish hall, Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mrs. Francis Dedek, president of the guild, will be assisted by other members.
The Men's club of St. Mark's church will meet at the parish hall tonight at 8:30 o'clock.
DAUGHTER ARRIVES Mr. and Mrs. Leonard B. St. John,
93 Cedar street, Hempstead, announce the birth of a daughter, Mflva Leah, born at South Side Communities hospital Monday, June 30 at 10:30 in the morning. The baby weighed 6% pounds and both mother and child are reported doing nicely.
Mrs. St. John was the former Miss Leah Smith, of Freeport. She was a graduate of the 1931 class of -the Nassau hospital school of nursing, at Mlneola.
.V Mrs. Mansfield Gives Tea For Country Club
Mrs. B. W. Mansfield of Jefferson street, Stewart Manor, opened her home from 3 until 5 o'clock for a garden tea for the benefit of the Stewart: Manor Garden club. Mrs. Mansfield's garden was bedeckedvwith polyantha roses flanking either side of a hedge, Interspersed with verbena and heliotrope. Two rose arbors in the rear of the garden were a pleasant accompaniment to a bronze sundial, presented Mrs. Mansfield by the members of the Garden club, of which she was president last year. A large number of members of the club
and their friends visited the garden.
