Mission Statement
To bring together the Pre-Professional students of CanisiusCollege through academic learningand excellence, social gathering, andcommunal volunteering. Also toexpose undergraduates to health
fields that include but are not limitedto medical, dental, pharmacy,veterinary and other public health
careers.

History
SPHP once existed here at Canisiusroughly 5-6 years ago under theadvisement of Dr. Susan Aronica. In
that time the Society, arranged forDoctors to come and speak tostudents about their specific specialty,the club also exposed students to the
medical field by allowing them toshadow health-professionals in theircareer path. Students also received
advisement in building their resume
