ENTREPRENEURS - OUR STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS

In India more than 1,35,000 MT of solid waste are collected every day in that only 28% of waste is recycled , remaining wastes are dumped and incinerated the landfills adversely af fects the environment as well as eco system. Pyrolysis is a suitable process for recycling polymer composites because the thermal decomposition products of the polymer matrix evaporate, and i t is condensed to liquid fuels. In the regular pyrolysis process all kind of plastics and solid wastes cannot be processed but, in this process catalyst is used to conver t the solid waste to valuable fuels at very low temperature range of 250-270 C.

Through Pyrolysis process valuable fuels are obtained which can be fur ther Distilled to Produce high quali ty Petroleum Products like, Gasoline, High Speed Diesel, Low Speed Diesel and Gases. In this process we achieved a Product yield of about 74 % of Fuel, 13 % Carbon ash and Product Gas 10%. The Fuels produced from this process has comparatively very low carbon and Sulphur Content in i t. Through scaling up this project can help to clean all solid waste in the country within 8 Years. This process is completely based on Green Technology which does not produce any pollution. The “Development of Bio-Diesel from all kinds of Solid Plastic Waste using Catalyst” has been developed in the insti tution incubation center in which the al ternate fuel was successfully developed. In continuation the student have star ted a new “Star t Up” in the name of PALANI VEL PYROS, Salem guided by the insti tution incubation center in the year 2019-2020.

1. Industry Insti tute Programmes - Corporate leaders from leading industries are invited regularly to interact with students.

2. Various Training Programmes are organized to train the students in the areas of Apti tude & Sof t Skills Training, Behaviour Assessment for the students, Career Counselling & Psychometric Assessments, and Verbal through the Reputed Ex ternal Training centres and in-house trainers. NASSCOM, AMCAT assessments are provided to the students to improve their self esteem.

3. Technical training programmes are being conducted by Technical exper ts wi th their specialization that provide Internship and placement as i ts impact according to the need of the Industry Specific.
