PHILOSOPHY
Design is not a straight line, its like a labyrinth. We never know exactly where the path is going to take us, but half of the journey is intuition and the other half is discovering new abilities and putting our all to find a solution. I believe a designer needs 3 things: Curiosity that lets us approach things in a child-like manner with fresh naiveté, empathy to see beyond ourselves and the determination that drives as we strive for greatness.
Founded in 1921, Alessi has always stood out for high quality. The company has become one of the leading factories of Italian design. Incorporating both culture and tradition with the highest quality of designer products. Alessi strives to bridge the gap between designers and consumer forming a relationship between the two.

Collaboration with SCAD and The Coca-Cola Company to research and develop new and innovative cross-promotional marketing concepts.
With the lack of human contact in the age of social media immersion, we decided to create a movement that will bring people back to the meaning of happiness and good wishes.
The Clink app lets consumers virtually cheers, check for events and unlock games and prices from the vault.
The Clink Bracelet would be able to connect to the app and record every time the consumer cheers!!
This is where the Clink Movement comes into play as it connects consumers from around the world through the simple gesture of “cheers.”
By changing the material of food trays for a day reduces envi-ronmental impact by 20%.Going trayless reduces food waste, saves water and electricity reducing environmental impact.
The Problem
Plastic and Styrofoam trays are commonly used and discarded in school cafeterias. Around 850,000 plastic trays are used every day in school and 30 million tons of styrofoam trays are used every year in the US alone. Both plastic and styrofoam trays are non-recyclable and cannot be composted.
Going Trayless
The Bloom Box is a waste-free lunchware option for school cafeterias.
Made from 100% sugar cane fiber. Bloom boxes biodegrade at the same rate as garden waste in a compost bin.
How the Bloom Box is made
The bagasse, the sugar cane fiber pulp, is collected and processed.
The bagasse is pressed in high temperatures and put into molds.
Bagasse can be used to make 100% biodegrad-able and compostable tableware.
