SOL RITUAL MAGIC TRAINING Workshop Two - Widening Horizons: The Egypt Connection Facilitated by Maria-Teresa Harmer 21-22 nd April 2018 The Ecology Centre, Gillespie Road Nature Reserve Gillespie Road London N5 1PH The SOL offers three practical training weekends in Ritual and Ceremonial Procedure for its students. All SOL students are required to take these 3 workshops as part of their commitment to their studies. Non SOL people who are genuinely interested are also welcome to attend. This series will be held once again in London at our regular venue. The aims of the workshops are to provide a thorough grounding in the theory and practice of ritual magic. The training comprises three weekend workshops. The workshops are intended to be practical, experiential as well as theoretical and each will delve deeper into magic. Workshop 2 Workshop 1 covered all the basics needed to participate and understand the workings of ritual magic. Workshop 2 will go into the practice of ceremonial magic in more detail and depth and so exacts its own demands. The entire workshop will have an Egyptian slant. Some of the areas to be covered are: • The Egyptian Pantheon • Working with the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses and Ritual Drama • The Egyptian afterlife and the journey of the Soul • The 12 Gates representing the Sun’s journey through the night
