Soldering Leads to the DC Motor
EAS 199ALecture 9Fall 2011
Soldering: EAS 199A
Overview
The DC motor that comes with the Arduino Experimentor’s Kit has short and delicate leads. We need to replace the leads with more robust wiring and soldered connections

Procedure
6
1. Cut a length of wire2. Strip and tin the ends of the wire3. Make note of polarity and remove old leads4. Insert tinned wire through tabs and bend into position5. Secure leads by soldering to motor tabs
