    Humanitarian Cooperation Network

    Strengthening coordination, coherence and complementarities in humanitarian actions

    The SOLIDAR Humanitarian Cooperation Network brings together SOLIDAR memberorganisations working in humanitarian aid to develop and strengthen the e ectivenessof our humanitarian work as a network.

    The SOLIDAR HCN works with policy- desk- and eld-level sta of SOLIDAR members, as wellas selected eld partners on enhancing the cooperation and networking of humanitarianactors for more reactive, e ective, coordinated responses to humanitarian needs on theground.

    In view of enhancing access and usage of expertise to improve eld coordination and LRRDin humanitarian interventions, the SOLIDAR HCN plans to organise humanitarian cooperationseminars at European level, as well as in Nicaragua and Haiti and develop practical tools andinstitutional mechanisms to support cooperated humanitarian actions, such as onlinedatabases and forums, cooperation guide pack, joint strategies.

    The Network is supported by the ECHO Grant Facility and currently brings together ECHOpartners: Assamblea de Cooperacion por la Paz (Spain), Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (Germany),Movimiento por la Paz, el Desarme y la Libertad (Spain), Solidaridad Internacional (Spain)and Swiss Labour Assistance (Switzerland).
