Installationofanemergencycommunicationdeviceinsidethecabinroof withthemicrophoneunitinstalledinthecabin.Thedevicecomplieswith theΕΝ81-28standard,whileaconnectiontoatelephonenetworkisnecessary fortheoperationofthedevice.

Theinstallationofamoderncabindoorisameasureofcriticalimportancesinceitprevents thecontactofpassengerswiththeshaftwallduringthemovementofalift. Suitablesolutionisconsideredtheuseofautomaticdoors(includingfoldingtypeofdoors).

Inthecasesofreplacementofoldcabin,automaticdoorsof3or4panelscanbeinstalled offeringclearopeningsfrom600to1100mm

1 TRACTION LIFTS

Inoldtractionliftsinstallations,theperformanceoftheexistingtractionmachineshasdeterioratedover theyears.Moreovermanyofthesemachinesareconsideredbytoday’sstandardsofoldtechnology,since manyofthemaresingleorlessoftentwospeedsmachines.Thishasasconsequencealackofprecision infloorleveling.Thefollowingsolutionsaimattheimprovementoflevelingprecision,butalsointhe generalupgradeoftheridequalityofthelift.

1.1 Installation of Inverter (VVVF drive) for enhancing the performance of old traction machines

Thissolutionisrecommendedwheretheoldmachineisingoodconditionandisnottobereplaced. TheVVVFsystemcanbeadaptedinsingleorintwo-speedmachines.Thereplacementofthe oldcontrollerhoweverisrequiredsothatthenewcontrolsystemissupported. 1.2 Replacement of old single speed machine with a modern VVVF machine

1.3 Devices for ascending car overspeed protection:

Inoldtractionlifts,thehazardofascendingoverspeedofthecabinisalwayspresent. Thiscancauseinjuriesonpassengersbecauseofthebouncingofthecabinatthemoment wherethedescendingcounter-weightlandsontothebuffer.Oldliftsdonotallocateany meansfortheeliminationofthishazard.Thispossibilitycanbeeliminatedwithoneofthe following2ways.
