Most pages in this folder contain identifying information at the bottom of the

page. This identifies which packet the page belongs to and the page number

within that packet. For example, “Affirmations Worksheet Packet — page 3 of

10” indicates that the page belongs to the Affirmations Workseet Packet and is

the third of ten pages that make up that packet. To prepare the pages in this

document for your personal use, follow these instructions.

Presumably, you are viewing this pdf file on your computer right now. To

print these pages, you need to have a printer hooked up to that computer. If you

are viewing this on a laptop, tablet or eBook reader without a printer, you must

wait until you have access to a printer. To get started, print the pages as follows:

Affirmations Worksheet Packet — 10 pages long, from page 7 to 16 of this

document. Select pages 7 to 16, and print two (2) copies. Staple the pages of

each set together. This will give you two worksheet packets that you can use

to formulate affirmations.

Affirmations Performance Chart — 1 page, page 17 of this document. Print

twelve (12) copies of this page. This will give you twelve monthly charts,

enough for one full year.

Affirmations Reference Packet — 10 pages long, from page 18 to 27 of this

document. Printing these pages is optional. Print one copy if you want.

Glad-Giving Worksheet Packet — 8 pages, from page 28 to 35 of this docu-

ment. Print two (2) copies of these pages. Staple each set together. This will

give you two workheet packets that you can use to designate glad-giving.

Glad-Giving Performance Record — 1 page, page 36. Print four (4) copies of

this page. Depending on how frequently you do glad-giving, these sheets

should last you at least one year, perhaps several years.

Glad-Giving Reference Packet — 10 pages, from page 37 to 46 of this docu-

ment. Printing these pages is optional. Print one copy if you want.

Affirmations Writing Forms — 1 page, page 47 of this document. Print ten

(10) copies of this page and cut each in half. This will give you twenty (20)

forms. Using these forms to write affirmations is optional; any scrap of

paper will do. However, if you like using these, print as many as you want.

Assorted Mini-Posters — 15 pages, from page 48 to 62 of this document. Print

whichever (if any) of these posters you want.

Any time you want or need additional copies of any of the pages in this

Personal Power Pack, feel free to simply print more.

To get the most out of the items in your Personal Power Pack, follow theseinstructions:

Affirmations Worksheet Packet

Your affirmations are not static; they are ever-evolving. In addition to makingwhatever changes come up as a result of reading and writing them daily, youshould also reformulate your affirmations on a regular basis. You can do this asoften as once a month or as seldom as once a year. Once every three to six monthsworks best for most people.

To reformulate your affirmations, proceed, in order, through the pages in theAffirmations Worksheet Packet. Feel free to write directly on the pages, either inthe spaces provided or anywhere you want.

Do not do this process when you are in a hurry. Wait until you have sufficienttime and can be comfortable.

When you perform a reevaluation, some of your previous affirmations remainunchanged and some change only slightly. Often, you discover new ones andrelease ones you no longer care about. Allow your affirmations to take you inwhatever new directions they may.

The last page of this packet contains your list of affirmations. Even if youdiscard the packet after you finish with it, you may want to hang on to this lastpage. Looking back on these pages as years go by can prove to be enlightening—and entertaining.

Affirmations Performance Chart

The Affirmations Performance Chart helps you stick to a schedule and staycommitted to your program of affirmations. It also helps insure that you do notskip any part of the daily three-part procedure.

Use a fresh copy of this chart every month. Keep each month’s chart some-where easily accessible, and keep a pen or pencil nearby.

To use the chart, place a check mark in the appropriate space after you com-plete that particular activity. In the second column, you may wish to include anotation indicating which affirmation you wrote that day and how many timesyou wrote it. The object is to mark all three columns for every day of the month.

At the bottom of the chart are a few lines for you to record any comments youhave regarding the process that particular month. Feel free to record any thoughtsexpressing how you feel about your progress at that point in time. If you needmore space, write on the back of the chart.

Save your charts. You will then have an overview of how you are doing andwhat’s been happening in your life. As time goes by, you will find it useful andrewarding to view past charts.

Affirmations Reference Packet

The Affirmations Reference Packet contains reference material to assist youin using affirmations. It includes the Law of Attraction, a collection of guidelines, affirmations instructions, additional suggestions and sample affirmations. Referto this information whenever you feel the desire.

Glad-Giving Worksheet Packet

Use the Glad-Giving Workseet Packet to get an idea how you’d like to ap-proach your glad-giving. Proceed, in order, through the pages. Feel free to writedirectly on the pages, either in the spaces provided or anywhere you want.

Unlike the Affirmations Workseet Packet, you need not feel compelled to usethis packet on any regular basis. You can wait until you feel the need. This couldbe once a month, once a year, or never. Many people feel a good policy for them isto look over this packet twice a year.

The last page of the packet contains summary information about your feelingsregarding your projected glad-giving. Even if you discard the packet after youfinish with it, you may want to hang on to this last page.

Glad-giving Performance Record

This chart allows you to keep track of your glad-giving. It also makes it easyfor you to calculate your actual glad-giving percentage.

When beginning a new sheet, write the current date on the “Date From” line. You will fill in the “Date To” line when you finish the sheet.

Whenever you receive income, enter the date and the amount of the income inthe appropriate columns. In the Glad-Giving column, enter the amount of moneyfrom that income that you designate for glad-giving. You can then calculate thepercentage and enter it in the % column if you want to. Use this formula:

(Glad-Giving ÷ Income) × 100 = Percentage

Obviously, you can round off the percentage if you want; it need not be exact. In the Recipient/Comments column, enter the individual or organization to whomyou gave the money, or any other comments you have regarding this donation.

At the bottom of the page, you can record totals if you want. Add all entries inthe Income and Glad-Giving columns and enter the results. You can then com-pute a glad-giving percentage for the entire page. If you save all your pages, youonly need to add the last line from each page to arrive at totals over time. In theComments column you can record any general feelings or results regarding yourglad-giving. If you need more room for comments, use the back.

Unlike the percentage you determine in advance to use as a guideline for yourglad-giving, the percentage you compute from these sheets is an actual result. This figure shows you what you have been doing in actual practice. You will alsofind the information on these sheets useful for tax and other purposes.

Glad-giving Reference Packet

The Glad-Giving Reference Packet contains reference material to assist you inyour practice of glad-giving. It includes the Law of Repulsion, various guidelines,glad-giving instructions, a glad-giving percentage chart, additional suggestionsand a list of organizations. Refer to this information whenever you want.

Affirmations Writing Forms

Use of these forms is optional. For writing affirmations, any piece of paperwill do. But if you like using these forms, do so.

Before writing an affirmation, you can record your name along with the dateand time. Although no one but you will ever see these sheets of paper after youuse them, and you will probably throw them away immediately afterwards, youmay still want to record this information. Some people report that seeing theirname and date in writing along with their affirmation gives their practice morecredibility. Furthermore, should decide to save some of these sheets, you can.

To use the form, just write your affirmation in the space provided. Write theaffirmation as many times as you choose. If you need more room, use the back ofthe form.

Assuming you use one form per day, you have enough forms initially to last forten days (two per day). Make more copies if you want them.

Mini-Posters

Your Personal Power Pack contains 15 mini-posters. Each one features adiagram or a statement that you may wish to display. Select the one (or more)that you think will be most helpful to you and put them in prominent locations. Some people like to frame them and hang them on a wall; other people simplyleave them laying around in plain sight. Many people make copies on coloredpaper and scatter them throughout their home. Feel free to give copies to otherpeople if you want. You can use these mini-posters in any way you choose.

By frequently viewing these mini-posters, you reinforce in your mind some ofthe central concepts of the two-prong method. If using these posters does notappeal to you, then don’t bother with them. But they can be fun if you choose touse them.

THE THE THE THE THE TWTWTWTWTWO-PRO-PRO-PRO-PRO-PRONG METHODONG METHODONG METHODONG METHODONG METHOD

— A STATEMENT OF DEFINITION —

Money exists. Therefore, money is subject to the same natural

laws as everything else that exists. The flow of money is governed

by the interplay of opposing forces.

You radiate an attractive force (the force pulling money toward

you) and a repellant force (the force pushing money away from

you). To create a positive flow of money into your life, you must

maximize your attractive force and, at the same time, minimize

your repellant force.

The two-prong method consists of two separate techniques:

(1) affirmations, to maximize your attractive force, and (2) glad-

giving, to minimize your repellant force. These two techniques

must be used in conjunction with one another. The two-prong

method operates at a deeper level than other money-making

plans; once the flow of money into your life is established, then,

no matter what else you do, money comes your way.

AFFIRMATIONSWORKSHEET PACKET

Use this packet of worksheets to formulate your affirmations. You will need to do this once when you begin using the two-prongmethod—and periodically thereafter.

Your program of affirmations can only be as effective as theaffirmations you use. For that reason, formulating good affirmationsis critical to seeing good results. By following the guidelines in thispacket, you arrive at affirmations that serve you well.

From time to time, you should use these worksheets to come upwith new affirmations. You can do this as often as once a month oras seldom as once a year. Once every three to six months works bestfor most people.

Make time to do this process right; do not attempt it when timeis limited or you are in a hurry. Do this only when you are comfort-able and can concentrate on what you are doing. Allow ample timeto complete the process.

The process of formulating affirmations can be broken downinto three parts:

(1) Determine what you want and make a list.

(2) Trim the number of wants on your list.

(3) Express your remaining wants in the form of affirmations.

The following pages take you step-by-step through this process. These three tasks are not difficult, but they do require a minimalamount of time and concentration. Above all, have fun and enjoythis exciting process.

First, the question you need to answer is:

What do you want?

Most people, as soon as they read the question, experience aflood of ideas, a rush of thoughts without order. This lack of clarityis the number-one reason why most people are not happy or suc-cessful. Surveys show that only two out of every one thousandpeople have a clear idea of what they want.

A general feeling of dissatisfaction should not, in any way, bemistaken for knowing what you want. To get results, you mustknow exactly. Only when you know details, can you form images ofwhat you want.

We are now going to determine, in detail, exactly what you want.As we proceed, do not trouble yourself with whether you think youcan obtain any of these things. All you need to concern yourselfwith is determining what you want. Realize that your subconsciousmind does not respond to ambiguity. You must be specific.

Get your pen or pencil ready. You should write directly on thesesheets of paper.

You will make two lists. The lists are:

(1) Your most pressing needs(2) Your ultimate desires

The first list is created by filling in two separate columns on asingle page. You will be using the blank spaces on page 4 of thispacket to create this list. Here’s how:

The left-hand column is labeled “Problems.” The right-handcolumn is labeled “Acceptable Solutions.” Fill in the left-hand columnfirst. Write what comes to mind when you think of your immediatemoney problems. You should consider your monetary situation asit stands right now, today. State each problem briefly, but be specific.Do not simply write, “bills,” but write which specific bills you findpressing at this moment. You do not need to fill in all the spaces; if

Affirmations Worksheet Packet — page 2 of 10

Page 9: Solve All Your Money Problems Forever - …intended to be used in conjunction with the book How to Solve All Your Money Problems Forever by Victor Boc. To derive maximum benefit from

only a few things come to mind, that’s okay. Take time to concentratewhile you do this. Stop only after you reach a point when you cannot think of any more immediate problems.

When you feel you’ve listed all the problems you can think of,then proceed down the right-hand column and write what you thinkwould be a satisfying solution to each problem. This may requiresome thought on your part; you may need to decide whether abroken object should be repaired or replaced. In creating this list, you are concerned with seeking adequate solutions to your immediatemoney problems. The solutions on this list should bring your financialsituation to the level of “getting by.”

The following are a few examples. Do not copy these examplesand use them as your own.

Now, let’s do your second list. This time, describe whatever comesto mind when you think of things you want. This is not a list ofwhat you need, but a list of what you want. These can be thingsyou are nowhere near achieving at the present time. Look aheadand picture your life exactly as you wish it to be. Do not limityourself. List extravagances. If you want something, list it.

Be as specific as possible. Do not write, “lots of money.” Write,“500,000 dollars a year.” Do not write, “a nice job.” Write, “a positionas a lab technician.” Do not write, “a fun vacation.” Write, “a tripto Europe for one month.” Do not write, “prestige.” Write “presi-dent of the local Citizens Caucus.” Write your ideas in the orderthey come to you. Here are some examples:

Write your list on the following page. Include whatever comes tomind, regardless of whether obtaining the item seems reasonable.Have fun doing this.

When finished, you have two lists:

Taken together, these two lists comprise what you want.

The next step is to examine every item on both lists and reducethe total number of items by eliminating those that don’t meet thefollowing five criteria. Place a check mark beside every item thatpasses the scrutiny of these considerations:

(1) Do you really want it?Do not list a particular item because you think most people would

want it. Do not list it because you remember wanting it in the past.Do not list it because the words look impressive on paper. Do yousincerely want it? You must have a burning desire for the item. Youmust want it so badly you can almost taste it. If not, eliminate it.

(2) Is it realistically possible? The only consideration here is that the item be humanly possible

to obtain, not whether you deem it feasible right now. No item isunrealistic if anyone has ever achieved it.

(3) Will anyone be harmed by it?This consideration refers to actual, malicious—physical or

mental—damage to another individual.

(4) Does it contradict any other item on your list?Does the fulfillment of the item in question preclude the

fulfillment of any other item? Do any two items on your list pullyour energy in opposite directions? The occurrence of conflictingitems is uncommon, but important to check for.

(5) Is it enough?Do not limit yourself. Force yourself to think big. Set your goals

high. Courage, not caution, is the quality that is called for here. Aslong as the item is realistic (as defined in #2 above), keep it.

On the following page, list all the items from your previoustwo lists that pass the scrutiny of these five considerations. Do notbe concerned with how many of these items you have. Althoughspaces are provided for more than twenty, do not worry if you listonly a few.

Now you will write your affirmations. An affirmation is a sentencethat makes a specific statement about yourself as though the state-ment were already true. To be effective, an affirmation must be:

(1) Specific(2) Positive

To be specific, an affirmation must be expressed in sufficientdetail for you to easily visualize it. Think of every possible aspect ofthe particular item and include whatever details are significant. Tobe positive, an affirmation must be stated as though the fact werealready accomplished.

Express all afffirmations in the following form:

I, (your name) , (the affirmation) .

An affirmation should describe something you want to attract, not something you want to avoid. Instead of writing, “I, John, donot have a pain in my leg,” write, “I, John, have a healthy leg thatis free from pain.” Make your affirmations as brief as possible withoutsacrificing clarity. Here is an example of a properly-wordedaffirmation: “I, John, own a new red Lexus SC430.”

The number of affirmations varies from person to person. Mostpeople, after doing this formulation process, end up with some-where between three and ten affirmations. Many people have onlyone or two, and that’s fine. If you have more than ten, reduce thenumber by retaining only those you feel strongest about.

On the following page (page 10 of this packet), write theaffirmations you create from your list of wants on page 8. Hang onto this list. You will find it highly informative to look back on later.

As for what to do with your affirmations, refer to the Affirma-tions Instructions section in the Affirmations Reference Packet. Itoutlines a daily, three-part procedure for using your affirmations.

Realize that by formulating and using affirmations, you areaffecting the course of what lies ahead for you. The content of youraffirmations directs the content of your future.

The Law of Attraction

Maintaining any preconceived image of intelligence

attracts the manifestation of that image in reality.

Reality is the direct result of imagination.

Your subconscious images literally create your world.

You are already using your creative power, whether you know it or not.

In the most fundamental sense, you are making everything happen.

Your direct hot-line to infinite power is your subconscious mind.

You can use your mind to create what you want.

Hope exists because you can change the images implanted in your mind.

An image stays planted inside you only until it is eliminated or replaced.

You get out of life exactly what you expect at the subconscious level.

Luck is the direct manifested result of images implanted in your mind.

You can voluntarily implant into your mind any image you so desire.

Your life is your choice; you are in charge here.

You don’t have to understand how affirmations work for them to work.

Writing an affirmation ten to twenty times a day is all you need.

Repetition of an affirmation is the most effective way to implant an image.

Creative visualization attaches the power of potential reality to images.

Be silent; be safe.

Your future success is sleeping now within your subconscious mind.

You are not the problem; you are fine the way you are.

People on the road to success expect great things at every turn.

You’ve waited long enough for the good life; do not wait any longer.

Affirmations InstructionsAffirmations InstructionsAffirmations InstructionsAffirmations InstructionsAffirmations Instructions

The following instructions tell you what to do with your affirmations. Byusing this three-part procedure, you will implant the images of your choice intoyour subconscious mind. Do the following three things every day:

FIRST: Immediately upon awaking in the morning, read your affirmations outloud and visualize them. Take your page of affirmations and, starting at the top, read through the entire list. Read each affirmation clearly. Pronounce every wordslowly and distinctly. Be audible and listen to your voice. Do not be afraid to talkout loud in a full speaking voice.

Do this soon after waking, when your mind is still impressionable. Try to readyour affirmations no later than fifteen minutes after you wake up.

If you live alone, saying your affirmations aloud should be no problem. Leaveyour list of affirmations beside your bed and, immediately upon waking, rollover, grab the list and read it out loud. If you live with others, you may preferthat they do not hear you read. In that case, you need privacy. You may want toread your affirmations where no one can hear you.

If you absolutely cannot arrange to say your affirmations out loud withoutbeing heard, then whisper. At the very least, move your lips silently to the forma-tion of each word. The movement of your lips, jaws and tongue—that is, theformation of the words with your mouth—directs the energy to your subconsciousmind. Speaking audibly is best, but if you cannot do that, do what you can.

After reading each affirmation, pause a few seconds and visualize an imagethat relates to it. Form a clear picture in your mind of something that is relevantto your affirmation. Some people refer to this technique as creative visualization.

To apply creative visualization, select an image or scenario that aligns withyour affirmation. Close your eyes, take a breath and relax. Gently direct yourconsciousness to the image you want. Allow your mind to observe it. See thepicture as if projected onto an imaginary movie screen in your head. Watch andenjoy. Let yourself view the image as it unfolds in dynamic detail.

Make sure you visualize the scene in detail. For example, if you have anaffirmation about paying an overdue bill, you might visualize the invoice with abig red “PAID IN FULL” stamped across it. If you want a new car, you could feelyour hands on the wheel or imagine washing it in the summer sun.

Each time you say an affirmation, your visualization can be different fromany previous time. The technique of creative visualization is an opportunity foryou to have fun and invent images you like.

So, the first daily activity is reading and visualizing each of your affirmations.Do this immediately after you wake up in the morning. For an average list of fiveaffirmations, this procedure should take approximately one to three minutes.

Affirmations Reference Packet — page 2 of 10

SECOND: Once during the day, write one of your affirmations repeatedly. Youcan do this anytime—morning, afternoon or evening—whenever you have a penciland paper and a few uninterrupted minutes.

Pick one of your affirmations. You can choose one that excites you, one youparticularly want to work on or one you haven’t put much effort into lately. Youcan pick the same one several days in a row or a different one every time. Onceyou’ve made your selection, write the affirmation over and over. You should writeit a minimum of ten times. The more times you write an affirmation, the morequickly you see results. Do not overdo it, though. Never write to the point ofexperiencing writer’s cramp. Fifty times, for example, is probably too many.

If you decide to write your affirmation ten to twenty times each day, you willdo well. That is a sufficient number of times to get good results. Be flexiblethough. You can vary the number of times you write an affirmation based on howyou feel on any given day. The number of times need not be a hard and fast ruleyou adhere to without flexibility.

Here are three hints to help you focus attention on what you are writing andplant your images deeply. Follow these suggestions when writing affirmations:

(1) Use an unruled sheet of paper and attempt to make your lines of writingstraight and parallel. This improves your sense of order and precision.

(2) Make your writing legible. Although nobody other than you will see whatyou write, doing this improves your clarity of thought.

(3) Slightly reduce the usual size of your writing. This improves yourconcentration.

A typical writing session should take somewhere between two and ten minutes, depending on your speed and the number of times you write the affirmation. Most people do their writing in five minutes or less.

THIRD: At night, read your affirmations out loud and briefly visualize eachone. This should be the last thing you do before going to sleep. It is an exactrepeat of the morning procedure.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

That’s all there is to it. Just read your affirmations morning and night, andwrite one affirmation sometime during the day.. This three-part procedurerequires less than ten minutes per day.

To keep track of how you are doing, use the Affirmations Performance Chart, included in this Personal Power Pack. This chart will help you stay motivatedand keep track of what you are doing. Committment is important in practicingyour affirmations. Do not skip any part of this program; commit to doing allthree parts every day.

Additional SuggestionsAdditional SuggestionsAdditional SuggestionsAdditional SuggestionsAdditional Suggestions

The following are a few extra pointers to maximize your attractive force. Theyare optional; you do not need to use them. If you do only affirmations and nothingmore, you’ll still increase the attractive force you generate toward money. However,by taking any of these additional suggestions, results will happen sooner.

Act the part.

Act and speak as though you have already solved your financial problems, even if no results are apparent yet. Your speech should support the images youare implanting with your affirmations. If you read and write your affirmationsevery day, but continue to act as though you are broke, results—althoughinevitable—come later rather than sooner. Start acting successful, even if yourbehavior is “all show” at first. Soon, you’ll get the results to back up your behavior.

Act confident. Don’t worry about faking it; a well-acted imitation gets you byuntil success comes along and makes you genuinely confident.

Act the way you eventually want to be. If you want to be rich, act as thoughyou already are. Other people see you as the person you present to them.Eventually, you become that person in reality.

Allow daydreams.

Daydreams surface involuntarily from time to time. Allow them to do so.Cultivate them. Enjoy them. Be grateful for them.

When you encourage daydreams, you find yourself daydreaming morefrequently, particularly about your affirmations. That is good. These little scenariosserve as valuable visualizations. Daydreams should never be inhibited orinterrupted. When one comes, let it happen. Get into it. Relish it while it lasts. There is little else you could be doing that is more productive.

Watch for luck-lines.

A luck-line is any exposure to a person, place or thing that furthers therealization of your image. Solutions to problems often come to you by means ofluck-lines. You can speed things up by watching for these luck-lines.

Once your image is implanted, your mind sets into motion subtle forces thatalign you with the flow of relevant energy. When this happens, all objects andcircumstances appear strangely influenced in a way that brings you closer toyour goal. You feel mysteriously drawn toward helpful situations. Be alert tothese situations. Watch for them. There is no element of chance involved here.Your life unfolds as it should. Be ready.

Every person who comes into your life is potentially an important contact. When you’re doing affirmations, be receptive to all people who enter your life, nomatter what the context. Everything that happens has a purpose, even if thatpurpose is shielded from view. You never know who will turn out to be a vital cogin the machinery of your new life.

Cancel unwanted images.

Most people freak out when they experience a negative thought. When theyrealize they are having a bad thought, they panic and try to expel the thought asquickly as possible. That is not the best way to handle unwanted images. Tryingto prevent a negative thought from entering your consciousness promotes stressand drains your vital energy.

You do not want negative thoughts to have an impact on your subconsciousmind. So, here’s what to do. Use a two-word phrase to cancel the impact of yournegative thoughts. The magic phrase is: “Cancel, Cancel.”

Whenever you find yourself immersed in an unwanted thought, don’t worryabout it. Do not suppress it. Let the thought happen. Immediately after thethought fades, say to yourself, “Cancel, Cancel.” This phrase nullifies any effectthe thought might have on your subconscious mind.

Unwanted thoughts are common. They do not mean you are sick or perverted. No matter how clear or powerful these visualizations are, you can keep themfrom having a subconscious effect by using the phrase, “Cancel, Cancel.”

Learn from experience.

When events do not unfold the way you want, do not dwell on it. Get on withyour life, and keep trying. Life is constructed so that you win some and you losesome. That’s just the way it is. Accept it. If you manage to win slightly more oftenthan you lose—although you may still lose plenty—you’ll be in good shape.

You will encounter situations that do not go your way. Do not interpret thosesituations as final. No one experiences uninterrupted progress in any aspect oflife. The road to success is littered with setbacks. Progress always occurs in stages, with periods of difficulty mixed in. You need to accept mishaps as part of theoverall flow. Whatever happens to you, try to learn something from it.

Cultivate courage.

Fear inhibits your ability to reason effectively. It paralyzes your imagination. It discourages initiative and undermines enthusiasm. From now on, allow fear tofall by the wayside. You have no further use for it.

Reach out and do what you are inspired to do. There is a reason for thatinspiration; act on it. Follow your hunches. Remember, you will make some

Affirmations Reference Packet — page 5 of 10

mistakes. Don’t be afraid of them. Mistakes are part of life. So who cares! Goahead and take a chance. If you goof up, that’s okay. If you succeed, however, then you’ve got something. This much is certain: you will never succeed if you donot try. Don’t worry about failure. You’ll succeed often enough.

Integrate all feelings.

Suppression is the act of forcing a thought or feeling out of your consciousmind. Suppression leaves you in a state of denial, refusing to see what is real. Theproblem with suppression is that feelings you attempt to hide get sent down toyour subconscious mind. There, they continue to influence your life.

Suppressed feelings slow the process of implanting new images. Since thesefeelings are stored in your subconscious mind, the task of countering them takeslonger than if the feelings were not suppressed to begin with.

Integration is the opposite of suppression. Integration releases suppressedfeelings and frees you from the burdens they impose. The process of integration isthe process of coming out of denial, of accepting buried feelings and experiencingthem in detail. Once you experience a feeling for what it is, all negativity associatedwith that feeling evaporates. Integration leaves you free and empowered.

Many techniques exist to help you integrate your feelings. Breathwork andmeditation can be helpful tools. Explore some of these methods concurrentlywith your program of affirmations. Integrating feelings speeds the results of youraffirmations by inviting the needed changes into your life.

Stay receptive to love.

The basic human need for love and affection is an important element in theformula for success. Your yearning for intimacy is maintained by the same forcesthat create reality from ideas. An instinct for love is a direct function of energy.

Falling in love makes you feel alive. Intimacy stimulates the same energy sourcethat your subconscious mind uses to perform its magic. Keep that energy flowing.

There is no better motivating force than love. For an extra push down theroad to success, keep yourself receptive to the prospect of a loving relationship.Do not assume you are too old or too unattractive for a new or rekindled romance. You are not. Great things happen all the time, and people on the road to successexpect them at every turn.

Look up.

At least once every day, make yourself gaze skyward. Actually bend your headback and look straight up. As you do so, think uplifting thoughts. Think of thedirection up as the direction your life is headed. That’s where you are going now.The physical act of looking up transmits a positive psychological message to yoursubconscious mind. Think up.

As much as possible, stand straight and hold your head high. Imagine you areimmune to gravity. Picture your skin and your body naturally tending to lift, asif drawn upward by a magnetic force from the sky. Do not focus on burdens of lifeweighing you down; direct your attention to pleasures of life lifting you up.

Welcome change.

The past ended yesterday. The future starts today. Do not reminisce over badtimes. When you focus on unpleasant past experiences, you reinforce their negativeimages. Put the past behind you and look to a bright and glorious tomorrow. Getexcited about your future. You’ve got reason to get excited now.

When changes start happening in your life, welcome them. Do not try to resistor slow the tide of destiny. Welcome new events into your life. Celebrate thechanges that come your way, for change is the transport to your new life.

Keep active.

Keep yourself in motion. Do not become physically lazy or mentally sluggish.Fashion a life-style that’s lively and dynamic. Results are obtained by doing things.

Avoid falling into a rut in which you lay around all day doing nothing.Listlessness saps your strength and drains your creative energy. If you add a littleactivity to your life, everything improves.

Activity keeps your heart beating and your blood flowing. Activity keeps newideas and new contacts circulating in your life. Activity keeps your subconsciousmind pumped up and ready to go.

ONE... Look at yourself in a mirror while saying your affirmations. Gaze directlyinto your eyes and say each affirmation clearly and audibly. This technique focusesthe energy generated by your images and directs it at your subconscious mind.

TWO... Record your affirmations and play them back. (An endless-loop workswell for this.) Play them in your car while driving. Play them on your iPod whilejogging. Play them on your cell phone or tablet at home lying in bed. This techniqueis relaxing and reassuring.

THREE... Write a few affirmations on individual index cards and carry themwith you during the day. Every once in a while, when you feel stressed or bothered, pull out a card and read it a few times. This technique serves a dual purpose: itreinforces the affirmation, and it immediately makes you feel calm and centered.

GLAD-GIVINGWORKSHEET PACKET

Use this packet of worksheets to designate your glad-giving.You will need to do this once when you begin using the two-prongmethod. You may also wish to do it periodically thereafter.

If you receive a set income that does not vary over time, you donot need to recalculate your glad-giving on a regular basis. If, how-ever, the amount of your pay varies or your income is unpredict-able, you may want to recalculate your glad-giving frequently.

Many people find it useful to work through this packet at leastonce every six months or so. Since this process is quick and simple, you should consider doing it from time to time.

This process is largely exploratory, for the purpose of allowingyou to get in touch with certain parameters surrounding your prac-tice of glad-giving. Much of the information you will be writing onthese pages is confidential; you probably prefer that others do notsee it. For that reason, you may choose to dispose of this packetafter use.

When adopting a practice of glad-giving, you need to look atthree areas of consideration:

(1) How much to give(2) Where to give(3) When to give

This packet is designed to assist you with these considerations.Although you should always keep your practice of glad-giving flex-ible, getting a feel for a few of the particulars in advance can helpease your initial foray into this new way of life.

The flowchart on the preceding page can be used to help you getan idea of how much money to base your glad-giving on and howoften you should give. The figures you entered in space A and spaceB serve as an approximate guideline for you to use when evaluatingthe prospect of glad-giving on a regular basis. Keep in mind thatthese figures are only a preliminary framework from which to pro-ceed.

Here are a few examples of using the flowchart:

• You have a regular job. You receive a paycheck every two weeksfor $1,942.65. You would answer the first question YES and youwould base your glad-giving on the amount: “$1,942” over the timeperiod of: “every two weeks.”

• You have no job, but receive a Social Security check every monthfor $1,509.30. You would answer YES to the first question and wouldbase your glad-giving on the amount: “$1,509” over the time pe-riod of: “once per month.”

• You have no regular or predictable source of income but youpay your bills regularly once every month. The average amount ofmoney you receive per month is about $2,000. You would answerNO to the first question, YES to the second question and wouldbase your glad-giving on the amount: “2,000” over the time periodof: “once per month.”

If you have no regular source of income and no organization toyour bill-paying, then you can simply pick a time period on whichyou want to base your glad-giving. In that case, this flow chart is oflittle use to you; you should simply observe the general rule of glad-giving, which is “give when you get.”

Whether you use this flowchart as a guideline or not, rememberthat you, alone, are in charge of your glad-giving. You decide howmuch to give and when to give. If you prefer to ignore the precedingpage entirely and simply follow the rule to give when you get, thatis fine. The flowchart is merely a way to illustrate that rule inpractice.

Glad-Giving Worksheet Packet — page 3 of 8

Page 31: Solve All Your Money Problems Forever - …intended to be used in conjunction with the book How to Solve All Your Money Problems Forever by Victor Boc. To derive maximum benefit from

Do not forget to include any supplemental income above andbeyond your regularly-scheduled pay. Fill in the following lines ifyou care to do so.

Supplemental income:

Source Amount Frequency (time period) 1 ________________ $___________ _____________________ 2 ________________ $___________ _____________________ 3 ________________ $___________ _____________________ 4 ________________ $___________ _____________________ 5 ________________ $___________ _____________________

Again, it is not necessary to figure all this out in advance. If youalways just give when you get, everything will work out fine. How-ever, if you want to structure your glad-giving in advance thenmake certain you take into account every source of income youhave. You will also need to determine whether to do your glad-giving weekly, monthly or according to some other regular orirregular time schedule.

Once you have a feel for how much money is to be used as abasis to figure your glad-giving and how often you plan to makedonations, you can continue with further considerations.

If you have already been practicing glad-giving, then, in thespace below, circle the number that corresponds to the approxi-mate percentage of your income that you have been donating thusfar. If this is your first encounter with glad-giving, then skip thisand proceed to the next page.

(less than 1) 1 2 3 4 5 (more than 5)

Glad-Giving Worksheet Packet — page 4 of 8

Page 32: Solve All Your Money Problems Forever - …intended to be used in conjunction with the book How to Solve All Your Money Problems Forever by Victor Boc. To derive maximum benefit from

If you have already been practicing glad-giving then look at thenumber you circled on the preceding page and examine your feel-ings bout it. Are you satisfied with your level of giving? Would youlike to adjust the figure up or down? After giving this matter care-ful consideration, then, in the space below, circle the percentageyou would like to use from now on as a guideline for your glad-giving.

If this is your first time glad-giving, then, in the following space, circle the number that corresponds to what you consider to be asuitable guideline on which to base your glad-giving. A sound ap-proach to this matter, if you’ve never before donated money forglad-giving, is to start with a guideline of 1 percent. Unless youhave any specific reason for trying a different figure, simply circlethe number 1 for your initial glad-giving.

(less than 1) 1 2 3 4 5 (more than 5)

This, then, is the percentage you have chosen to use as a basisfor calculating your glad-giving. Now, calculate the approximateamount of money that this figure yields.

In the spaces below, you will multiply your percentage by theamount of income you receive. Fill in the following spaces with theinformation indicated.

$______________ × ______________ = $_____________ (Space A, page 2) (percentage circled)

Now, divide this figure by 100:

$______________ ÷ 100 = $______________ (Result given above)

Now, fill in the spaces below to arrive at a statement of yourprojected glad-giving:

$______________ glad-giving per ___________________ (Result given above) (Space B, page 2)

Glad-Giving Worksheet Packet — page 5 of 8

Page 33: Solve All Your Money Problems Forever - …intended to be used in conjunction with the book How to Solve All Your Money Problems Forever by Victor Boc. To derive maximum benefit from

The last line on the preceding page constitutes a statement ofyour projected glad-giving. For example: “$38.72 glad-giving permonth.”

Keep in mind that this statement is approximate. When youdo your glad-giving, do not devote any great effort trying to donatethe exact amount specified. For example, if your projected glad-giving is $38.72 per month, you do not need to make certain yougive that exact amount to the penny. $40.00 is okay. So is $50.00. Sois $35.00. As long as you end up giving an amount that is some-where in the ballpark, that’s fine.

Where you give your money is entirely up to you. You can makeall your donations to individuals, all to organizations—or some toindividuals and some to organizations.

Now, in the space below, circle the statement that best describesyour feeling at this time about how you’d like to structure yourglad-giving:

All to individuals

Mostly to individuals

About equally to individuals and organizations

Mostly to organizations

All to organizations

No preference whatsoever

Your preference at this time is, of course, not binding. You canchange your mind at any point. Once you start giving, you maydiscover that what you actually do is quite different from what youexpected to do. Make sure you remain flexible.

Many people find that where they give their money depends onthe actual people and places that they select for donations. That isthe focus of the following page.

Glad-giving converts your monetary addiction to a monetary preference.

For you to receive money, money must circulate.

In the process of letting go of money, you are letting go of addiction.

Give when you get.

Give only when you get.

Give 1 to 5 percent of your income.

Give freely and without expectation of repayment.

Getting started is the hardest part.

Glad-giving should not hurt, but you should feel it slightly.

When you give money, you are aiming your energy.

Glad-giving is not the same as tithing.

Glad-giving makes you one of the rich folks who know the joy of giving.

It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Glad-giving is not indiscriminate giving. It is a discipline involving three factors:how much to give, where to give and when to give.

HOW MUCH TO GIVE: The amount to give is based on a percentage of yourincome. The best figure falls within the range of 1 to 5 percent.

The effectiveness of glad-giving declines when the applied percentage dropsbelow 1 percent or rises above 5 percent. That’s not to say that another percentage, such as 10 percent, does not work at all. It does. But for most people, best resultsoccur in the range of 1 to 5 percent.

Start by designating 1 percent of your income for glad-giving. If you feelcomfortable with that amount and you see good results, stay with it. If, on occasion, you feel compelled to give a little more, do so. If, overall, you feel the inclinationto raise the percentage, and you can afford to do it, then go ahead and increasethe figure. Over time, adjust the percentage to whatever value feels comfortablefor you, up to a figure of 5 percent. Remember, for optimal results, do not goabove 5 percent or below 1 percent.

Glad-giving is not intended to be a struggle. It should be inviting and easilydoable. Glad-giving’s effectiveness at upgrading addiction does not improve atfigures above 5 percent. The mere act of committing to a program of giving doesthe trick. In terms of results, the actual percentage seems largely irrelevant—provided it does not drop below 1 percent or climb above 5 percent.

Calculating money for glad-giving is easy. Suppose your income is $5,000 permonth. Your take-home pay, after taxes and deductions, is $4,000 per month. Inthat case, use $4,000 as the base from which to calculate your glad-giving. If youselect a figure of 1 percent, you would donate exactly $40 of your income eachmonth. This figure is arrived at by multiplying 1 percent (or .01) by $4,000.

WHERE TO GIVE: You must decide whether to give your money to individualsor to organizations—or to a combination of both. This is a question you mustanswer for yourself. There are advantages and concerns with each of these twotypes of donations.

Do not feel that giving to organizations is better, that unless you donate tosome official cause, your efforts are less effective. Such is not the case. Feel free tobase any or all of your glad-giving on donations to individuals.

Although direct contact can be rewarding, there is a consideration with thisapproach, something you need to watch for. For glad-giving to be effective, themoney must be given freely, without strings attached. That is not always easy todo when dealing with friends and associates. They usually want to repay you. Ifyou find someone who can accept your money as freely as you give it, great. Ifnot, I suggest you confine your gifts to organizations. You decide how much of

Glad-Giving Reference Packet — page 2 of 10

Page 39: Solve All Your Money Problems Forever - …intended to be used in conjunction with the book How to Solve All Your Money Problems Forever by Victor Boc. To derive maximum benefit from

your glad-giving should go to people with whom you are in personal contact andhow much should go to organizations.

If you decide to donate to organizations, pick ones you think are worthwhile. An organization you select should be engaged in something you feel good about, exerting what you consider to be a positive influence on society. This not onlymakes you feel better, but yields better results. When you give money, you areaiming your energy at a target. That target should be one you want to hit.

If you want, you can select one particular organization and always donateyour money there. Or, you can pick a small number of organizations (maybe fiveor so) and earmark your glad-giving for those few. Or, you can spread your dona-tions over any number of different organizations (perhaps dozens or more) andgive small amounts to each one. As far as effectiveness is concerned, any of theseapproaches, or any combination of them, is fine. No one approach is perfect foreveryone. You need to evaluate what feels right for you.

This reference packet contains a short list of national organizations. The list isintended as a possible reference when you select groups for donations. You canpick and choose from this list if you are so inclined.

WHEN TO GIVE: The general rule is: give when you get. Figure out a schedulebased on the frequency with which you receive income. If you get paid weekly, give weekly; if you get paid monthly, give monthly. Set a timetable and stick to it.

Do your glad-giving as soon as you get paid. If you are self-employed and yourtimetable is flexible, then base your glad-giving on a reasonable and comfortableschedule that aligns with your rate of income. If you are unemployed and receivemoney irregularly, give immediately whenever you obtain money.

One further recommendation: give only when you get. In other words, consideronly money that passes through your hands as money subject to glad-giving.

Base your glad-giving on your take-home pay. Do not worry about moneyyou’ve earned that has been deducted from your paycheck. If you always conductyour glad-giving this way, based on money you actually “see,” you will never giveany more or any less than you should, and everything will check out in the end.

Any money you acquire, no matter how you get it, should be considered incomeat that precise moment. Do not deny any funds you receive. Acknowledge everybit of money that comes your way and earmark a percentage of it for glad-giving.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Your program of glad-giving is your responsibility. You decide how much togive, where to give and when to give. You are the one in charge. These re-commendations are based on a knowledge of what works and what other peoplehave found effective. But the decision to act—and how to act—is yours alone. Inthe final analysis, you are in charge of what you do, just as you are in charge ofwhat happens in your life.

Additional SuggestionsAdditional SuggestionsAdditional SuggestionsAdditional SuggestionsAdditional Suggestions

The following are a few extra pointers to minimize your repellant force. They areoptional; you do not need to use them. If you do only glad-giving and nothingmore, you’ll still reduce the repellant force you generate toward money. However,if you decide to take any of these additional suggestions, results will happen sooner.

Be loose about money.

Cultivate an attitude of carefreeness. Realize you can get by without muchmoney. Being poor may not be what you prefer, but the world does not end if yousuddenly have to tighten your belt. Money is useful, but it is not the most importantthing in the world.

Speak cheerfully about your financial affairs. When discussing money withfriends, be quick to say, “I’m not concerned about money anymore,” or “I haveplenty of money these days.” Do not worry about trivial sums. Let the person atthe cash register keep the change once in a while. Adopt the attitude that smallamounts of money are insignificant to you. Treat money lightly, at least for outwardappearances.

Spend money.

Be willing to part with money in order to buy whatever you want. On occasion, you may find yourself debating whether or not to purchase a certain item. Chancesare, you really do want the item or you would not waste time wrangling withyourself about it. Chances are, the main argument against buying the item iscost. In that case, buy it. When a buying decision is difficult, lean toward buying.

This advice concerns only decisions involving an item you truly want. If youfind yourself in doubt solely due to considerations of expense, then I recommendthat you be willing to part with your money. This situation may occur infrequently, and this advice may have little long-range impact on your budget, but thewillingness implicit in this attitude predisposes you to beneficial results.

Don’t worry about debt.

Try to feel at peace with being in debt if that is your current situation. Manypeople live in debt. Debt is a fact of life in today’s world. If, right now, you findyourself in debt, don’t sweat it. You’ll dig out eventually. If you slide a bit furtherinto debt along the way, don’t torment yourself. Being in debt, in and of itself, isno less honorable than anything else a person does in the world of finances.

Sure, debt is not your first choice. It’s not something desirable, something youwant to encourage in yourself. But, someday, all your debts will be a distantmemory. In the meantime, don’t work yourself into a frenzy about something

Glad-Giving Reference Packet — page 5 of 10

Page 42: Solve All Your Money Problems Forever - …intended to be used in conjunction with the book How to Solve All Your Money Problems Forever by Victor Boc. To derive maximum benefit from

that’s not even a problem of mismanagement. Anxiety compounds the problem. As long as you keep your level of debt manageable, your life will function smoothly.

Remember the child within.

Remember the part of you that knows life is a game and sees money as a wayto play. Remember that you have the capability to feel exuberance and passion.

Be more childlike with money, more playful. Enjoy your quest for money as ifit were a game, because it is. Get in touch with the child that still lives withinyou. Remember the way you felt as a child, and notice that a part of you is stillcapable of those feelings today. Do whatever you must do to reach your monetarygoals, but don’t lose sight of the child who is doing the doing.

Think of things other than money.

Keep an awareness in the back of your mind that there are entire spheres ofreality where money plays no part.

Normally, many of your waking hours are spent in thoughts related, in someway, to finances. A consciousness centered on money permeates nearly everythingyou think and do. You should remember that there are entire worlds, entirerealities, not based on money. Think of love, sex, art, dance, music, poetry, prayer, meditation and others aspects of a fulfilling life. Money has no relevance whendealing with these experiences.

Obviously, money makes it easier for you to explore those areas. Money doesgive you greater access to the finer things in life. But that is beside the point. What I am suggesting is that you be aware of the existence of worlds that operatebeyond money. They do exist. Think about them. Surely, you do not need anymoney to think about something. That too—the world of thought—is a universeapart from money.

You don’t want money only for money’s sake, do you? Of course not; greenpieces of paper are of no value to you. You want money for what it can get you.Well, then, spend some time thinking about those things that money can get. Letyour mind wander into thoughts of the wonderful treasures life has to offer.

In making this recommendation, I am not suggesting you change your behavior. An awareness of these worlds need not alter what you do in life. This awarenessdoes, however, create the space for you to realize that money isn’t everything. There are worlds without money that await you. Entire universes exist wheremoney has no relevance whatsoever. Realize this. Become intimately aware ofthese realities. Ponder them. Enjoy these miraculous worlds. Take comfort intheir existence—and their ultimate survival.

Don’t worry too much about money. Get all the pleasure you can out of whatevercomes your way, and enjoy what life has to offer. Kick back and have some fun.And stop worrying about money.
